- In this episode I check out the new GEPRC Cinelog 35. This is a cine-drone designed to film indoors or outdoors at slow or fast speeds, low to the ground. It can even race & do freestyle. If you want a long flight time, use a very light external camera like an INSTA360 GO2 or Caddx PEANUT.

Why does everyone review the 4s version and not the 6s?
I really enjoy your videos, I just ordered the 6S version of the 35 I have the 25 and love it, but I really want to have my GoPro footage stablizied with reelsteady. Can't wait to get it
I never use reelsteady as it adds to much extra time to production of my videos. If you use it, remember to turn off any stabilization in your gopro or else it won't work.
gyroflow is the way..you can use already stabilized videos

@@hbmaganao You don't want to add to much weight especially if you don't know how to fly an FPV drone. As for a radio, if you plan to stay in the hobby, get yourself a Radiomaster TX16S. The most common receiver people use is the FRSKY XM+

I used your code and ordered analog and with frsky: $280, going HD just added to much cost on googles, I maybe upgrade later, but will mostly uses it as a virtual 50ft camera boom
After I chatted with geprc they confirmed my cheap add-on's where compatible:
FrSky ACCST Taranis Q X7: $89, Eachine EV100 googles $89 and I finalized it with a IMAX B6 80W for $25.
I will order 6S battery from Amazon as international shipping on those have restrictions.
So total: $500 for a complete FPV system, that I can upgraded later as I go.
P.S I will use two Sony AS50 for VR 3D recordings :) (83grams each)
If this is your first FPV drone, make sure you practice on a simulator long enough that you can fly without crashing and then you'll really enjoy it.

Does a naked gopro have a built-in electronic stabilization feature as a full size gopro has in normal? Or you need to use reelsteady to stabilize the footage?

Quick question Captain! Have you flown the Protek 35 and if so which one would you recommend to an experienced FPV guy for the best of all worlds? Protek 35 or Cinelog 35?
I do not see where the Cinelog 35 is available in most US web stores yet. My girls is wanting to get me something for Christmas and I have the Cinelog 25 and would probably take my chances on the Cinelog 35, but it's not available so is the Protek 35 just as good or better?
Can anybody else weigh in?
I have never flown the ProTek 35, only the smaller 25.

Do you understand pid tuning & rates ? If so please make a video explaining what they do , maybe a good visual video done with some kinda program where you can show stick movement & explain the rates etc and how they affect.. or just talk about it while on beta flight!
PID tuning is something we used to do in the old days when Flight Controllers were not very powerful. In today's FPV world you'd rarely touch the tunings, unless you are someone who can only fly one type of drone and then wants every other drone to fly exactly the same.

Greetings from Germany. I would like to know if the Protek35 is better or Cinelog35. I would like to carry a full sized Gopro for cinematic flying for fun as well as for small restaurants, gyms and indoors. would a 4S of 6S be better in these scenarios?
6S gives longer flight time but adds weight. Cinelog35 performance is currently the best of the bunch.

Great little drone, is there a light weight drone (under 250g/0.55lbs) that can fit a gopro and can fly for more than half an hour and has an auto return mode?
Not in the year 2021... unless you put a naked gopro and a Nimh battery, but even then you would not get 30 mins.

For slow filming with a NAKED GOPRO or other small lightweight camera get the CINELOG 35.
If you wish to film with a heavy camera, get the VEYRON 35.

Yes, as long as the cinelog has a receiver in it that is compatible with the Jumper. FPV goggles are all based on preference. If you have very little money, shop on Banggood for FPV analog Goggles.

It was advertized to carry a full size GOPRO, hence as a reviewer that is exactly what I did to see if it was correct or false advertizing.
Just use a li-ion battery to get longer flights. (But don’t do dives)
Battery sag will mainly be due to cold . I rarely fly in cold conditions. But when I did even a fresh battery would sag very quickly - so definitely take flight time/performance. I'm very interested to know the durability of those prop guards. I got cl25 and cl30 and the plastic is brittle and weak. Prefer the plastic that a beta95x is made from.

Not sure what you mean. OSD is On Screen Display.

Normally it is the same plug due to battery size (smaller the battery, smaller the plug)

The Protek 35 is a race drone with prop guards. This one is a Cinewhoop.
What googles and controller are you using?

This is only an indoor drone in the hands of a pro.

Yes, you can fly in tight spaces. The rule for most FPV pilots is that on small drones a 4S is best to keep things compact on tiny pusher/cinema drones when you want to fly with little weight. Also if you are a newbie, 4S is best.
I am a fellow Canadian that also wears glasses and am looking to get into fpv. I would like something under the 250g weight to avoid having to get a license and I would like goggles that fit over my glasses. I would also like to keep things under$500 or so for now. Do you have any recommendations for me based on this?
Eachine Novice IV might be perfect for you. Remember, practice makes perfect so many hours on a simulator of your choice will go a long way. Also watch my CAPTAIN DRONE FPV FOR BEGINNERS series so you have an understanding of everything in the FPV hobby.

When it comes to batteries you first have to match up the VOLTAGE. So if the drone calls for a 4S battery, then don't use a 6S battery. If it calls for a 6S battery then use a 6S battery (or less if desired).
The next item is BATTERY SIZE & WEIGHT. As a battery gets larger in mAh it gets larger in size & weight. So an 800 mAh battery is smaller in size and weight then a 1300 mAh battery. The "C" rating is for when you are a pro in the hobby and need the highest "C" rating... newbies don't need "C" ratings. Look at the website for the drone and you will find a battery recommendation.

For an experienced pilot certainly. For a beginner, you may find it too powerful.
I reckon you could tone it down in the cli by 20% or so to ease off the power till you're more experienced but still gain the slightly longer flight time from the 6S. IMO

Cheapest remote would be the RADIOMASTER TX12 for the hobby.

The FPV hobby does not use phones. A 1500 mAh is too large, too heavy.

I have never tried such a drone with a li-ion battery but I think it would work. It is all about a weight thing... weight of the battery to the drone and what the drone can lift.
Nice video! I have 4s 1500 mah batteries, how would they work with carrying a GoPro hero 8?
It just adds more weight, so even though flight time could be longer, the added weight will again reduce flight time.

I waited for this cinelog 35 because he could handle a full GoPro but after this review it looks fair (too heavy for him). suddenly I hesitate because if i have to put a GoPro naked to gain autonomy, wouldn't it be more interesting to take a cinelog 25 or a cinelog 30 ? can you help me?
The CINELOG 35 with a Naked GoPro or CADDX PEANUT or INSTA360 GO2 would be insane since it is so very powerful. It would be much better than the 30 and 25.

Never tried it, but they probably are because 1300 mah is a very common size.
