- Tatijane first knew something was wrong when she started having pain near her ribs. Her pain became so severe she was rushed to the ER and was then diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, both B and T cells, with mutations. At 24, she was then given 6 to 8 weeks to live.
She shares how she processed her shocking diagnosis, the different treatments she’s undergone including a double CAR T-cell therapy clinical trial, and how she’s giving back to the cancer community.

My son had the same thing. ALL. Got it in 2014. He had CAR-T after it came back after chemo, then Bone marrow transplant in 2017 and he's fine today. CAR-T was his trial back then when it first came out. Saved his life!
I'm so sorry he had to fight ALL. But he's a warrior to! I'm so happy the treatments worked!

America needs universal health coverage for all traumatic health events costing more than $5,000-$10,000. Major hospital bills are the major cause of bankruptcy in this country.

I went to the ER myself and was told I might die (unfortunately I didn't). I went on to get a head injury I had to deal with myself and had to take care of my terminally ill 130lb dog myself while dealing with the head injury. Lots of people have ZERO help or people who harm us instead of help.
6-8 weeks to live at 24, I have no idea what I would do if I was told that so young.
It sure seems cancers are getting more and more common and hitting people younger and younger…
Unfortunately she passed just a few days ago. Still so young, only 26.

depend on the length of the fast and your fat storage. an average adult can certainly do 4-5 weeks without any problem... someone who is overweight can even do half a year...
my own "record" were 32.5 days of a waterfast, i know what i'm talking about...
letting the cancer grow is definitely more deadly...

Don't let doctors weight shame you into blowing off the proper care you should receive them. If a doctor attributes *all* your problems to weight then get a new doctor or ask the Dr. if this is the care plan they would give a thin person.

I'm told the same thing. You need to lose weight! Drs need to listen to the person who has lived in the body for however many years. Praying for you and sending hugs. You are amazing.
I have AML Leukemia with the MECOM mutation and so I was given a Stem Cell Transplant in August of last year, after five days of extreme chemo which I believe was similar to what you went through. It sounds like you either had fewer side effects or you are just tougher than me because my experience was extremely traumatic while you seem to have glided through it, well, relatively. And you are right, that it is best to share everything with the docs, without worrying about TMI (too much information). I really admire your spirit and your resilience. Hang in there!
I was diagnosed with the rare CMML -2 leukemia - 4 months ago. One week on Azitadine chemo and 3 weeks off. Thank you so much for posting this video - it's a big help for others like me. I am sad to read that you have passed away.

2yrs kickin butt, you've got this girl! The food looks delish & I'm craving that now, lol. I had my uterine lining come out all at once. It was like giving birth to me. We didn't know what was going on so we took it to the ER & they confirmed it was my uterus lining. It happened bc I was on birth control so I was told I can't take birth control anymore bc it's too dangerous. I'm wondering what the dr will say about yours.
So angry at your doctors for ignoring your health problems and automatically blaming it on your weight with absolutelly no investigation. Your positive attitude is pulling you through, sheer will.

im colon cancer stage2 diagnose last march 2022 had my operation with colostomy,done 8session of chemo biopsy is negative,my 4th ct scan done last march and its ok.but in blood there still trace of cea..and my oncologist refer mi for PET SCAN..Any one experience same mine?
Sadly it, the cancer, often does find a way to get around the treatments.

I'm currently on an immunotherapy. The double car-t was a targeted therapy because it targeted my 2 cells that were infected.

A young man had stage 4 colon cancer and just ate no food. He didn't feed the cancer. He occasionally had protien like a t-bone steak once every week, but the fact that he had no sugars that cancers love to feed on healed him. His cancer diminished. He fasted for a few months. His cancer shrank to a fourth it's size and that's when he had radiation. Cured.
