It's Roots rock. Very bluesy for sure with elements of rock and country. Can have some bluegrass too. Whatever you call it, it's amazing!

I simply can't believe there are people down-thumbing this talent. I suppose there will always be haters and musically challenged people with a chip on their shoulder who just need to put other people down to make themselves feel better.
Mitch has inspired me back into alternate tunings after my tragic alternate tunings injury I got from some of Nick Drake's music.
Also... Mitch has fingers like a Cephalopod... only a Cephalopod that plays awesome music with his hands, foot, mouth... the other foot. This cat is setting the bar higher for solo musicians... while I hate him for making me feel lesser of a musician... challenge accepted.

I've heard harmonica players sound like a train but this guy is King. That guitar, harmonica, and that kick drum make it chug and puff to great effect. The best I've ever heard. I only wish my carver amp were work in. Then I'd be riding that southerly train fa sho!
