Absolutely love this! Can't thank u enough for your in depth analysis, keep up the great work bro
Thank you so much. This is super helpful, even as a mechanically above average player against someone with better positioning, 9/10 i am going to lose.
What is the resolution u use ?
@@wolfthesaiyan9298 definitely looks like 16:10 stretched. He has a settings video too I think.
do u have a discord?
"If you have no maidens" 💀 honestly Dazs you are a gem in this community
This is what i have been looking for. Specific strats are so much more helpful than general tips that you almost certainly are already aware of.
This is definitely super useful. So, the concept of pushing seems easy when it's a 1v1. How do you know when to push when you have a trios squad holding different angles on you? Do you push if you get the crack on one enemy? Do you full send on the one as a team or does one push and the other two teammates try to fight off the other two enemies? I'm sure the answer is very dependent on the situation
If they're too scattered and have good angle its hard, but if 1 of them is out of position thats when to push as three and turn em down 1 by 1.
This is why Bloodhound is so OP, revealing the enemy position so you can make easy decisions how to push a cracked enemy out of 3.
I main Rampart and the amount of patience (or the time need to decide to push) I need in order to push is crazy, so I always carry some nades and play alot with covers..
Everyone should focus different people because they have to shoot back
When your team makes 3v1 situation the other 2 can still shoot and kill your whole squad

I have spent weeks looking for this specific type of content. You are by far more thorough and give no cherry-picked examples compared to most of apex legends content on CZcams. 9/10
Thank you for making thos video!
Love the in-depth dive on these videos. So many other videos just say the same basic things. Thanks for putting a ton of effort and time into these.
This video along with your positioning video made me finally realize why I’ve always sucked at fps games. Thank you so much for making these I can’t wait to try out all the new stuff I’ve learned.
I don’t even have words on how good this guide is
The knowledge you share is so valuable Dazs. And I found the exact same mistakes while I'm in a fight.
This is great! More people should really see this it gives a much clearer insight on what goes on inside the mind of a better player and why I lose a lot of encounters thanks!
I could never find a video on how to get good positioning and this really helped, thanks 3000
Hey Dazs, love the videos. Great work & thank you for such amazing content 🙂
Thanks, This was Really informative. I think I comeback to this video once a month now.
the entire apex community needs to watch this video
Under rated. This guy is the JGod of Apex.
Love this video. I just figured out what my strategy needs. Crack enemy shield BEFORE closing the gap
good video for beginners, not sure it entirely translates to actual game fights every time, but def a good way to learn the basics. huge flip side is if ur the one that got cracked and are being pushed in that last stage, sometimes instead of batting you can ego chal and catch the opponent in a really bad spot pushing in the open =free beams/easy down or atleast then u traded damage and u might have deterred the push on u allowing a reset
honestly the fights in apex are so dynamic bc of so many variables, the more fights u get into is the only way to truly understand how to push and win fights, but this is the general concept ... outdamage and be decisive
This is exactly the point, its a game of chess. As long as you can start thinking in this mindset. You can start to counter and counter back again. What makes Apex feel so dynamic honestly.
This is great info for me ,because I want to get good at playing apex. It helps me to think quicker in a hot situation.
0:02 Nice shot Dazs! Holy heck
A lot of good stuff in here
I subscribed
Thanks Dazs! I missed a clip like that for so long
This is an excellent video. Thank you
Thank you for that information, it’s very helpful
This is excellent! Thank you!!
dope video, love the content you and you are right this is exactly the content most big apex players don't make.
Hell yeah man nice upload.
Thanks for the video, It was really useful
An actual decent guide, good job
Thankyou for this!
Appreciate the video as always hit diamond last season than took a break. Trying to hit diamond again on the KC split.
I would give you a degree man, nice tips and guides!!! It is veeery helpful, I'm gonna apply this in my games, thanks so much!
thx dazs for making this video, this will help so many people to use their brain properly.
Love the content subbed immediately
Thank you Dazs!!!
this video is very helpful thank You Bro
THANKS A LOT, it would be a wonderful idea if you can do the scenario with every legends and depending if its solo, duo or trio. it would be superrr helpful for legends that we dont main
Great video thanks for sharing.
needed this guide a lot...As I suck in positioning
great video
New boy on your team bro 💯💯🤜🤛
Love u dazs
You really answered answered every question right after I mentally asked them “what if I don’t play a movement legend” “oh” “what if my aim sucks” “oh”
The bat is the most underrated thing that people think about pushing the enemy
Nice now time to learn to aim
great vid
Nice video
yep this is the real fundamentals that really hold ppl to play right. U can try to aim training all day and get ur aim right definitely, but this thing sometimes ppl dont grasp the mindset and doing completely different with what they gonna do, sometimes they do bad habit doing dumb push and contesting their ego, and the worst part they dont even realize it.
nades are super useful to push too
Thanks
That was fanatics . The demo on none movement ledgers was highly needed
I just wanna say a big part is your mentality as well you need to be hyping yourself up don't doubt yourself never hesitate it'll help you get better
More people need to learn to push, I had a game where we cracked two people without getting damage and I’m like are we pushing or what? And of course the waiting allowed them to reheal.
Early afff
wished more people would learn strategy in this game, would make solo queue so much easier
Simple solution:
Solo no-filling trios, try to deal the highest damage possible while trying to take the least possible. Trains both movement and positioning.
(If you don't care about your KD)
On controller im struggling with auto rifles the most. So i don't know how to land those shots at such a distance with something like flatline - the recoil kicks in like crazy😆
feels much better with 30-30, snipes etc.
4:10 That title had me dead 😂
My issue is that a lot of the time I'll be between phase 2 and phase 1, and rather than taking cover to heal, my opponent will swing in the open on me while I'm reloading and pushing up to the next spot and shred me. I'm not sure how to handle this and I notice in plat and diamond lobbies it happens a lot. I had a string of 5 games where I'd be in a 1v1, deal 70+ damage and take none, go to swing, and my opponent just doesn't heal and I'm mid-reload.
I am indeed maidenless but I appreciate being seen 🙃
Damn he called me maidenless. And here I thought I was the Elden Lord...
You used wraith tactical, one of the better legends to reposition at 6:30. In a situation like that, most legends can not do what you did. It’s situations like that where I find myself dying with revenant / valk. I can’t just fly away with valk I’ll get shot in the air and die. I usually try to pop a cell and circle around that box for cover and hopefully down them.
That is why you play to your legends strengths and know their weaknesses. I am positive we could make hours upon hours of scenarios. But if positioning was bad. Holding and seeing if your opponent will run out of cover is a solid plan to catch them out of position.
Its a game of chess at that point.
Did I do enough damage to stop them?
Did they counter with stronger damage?
What utility so I have?
What was my exit strategy if things went wrong?
Last resort do I swing to catch them in the open?
Are my teammates near to cover while I pop a counter battery?
This is where I find Apex so exciting is this level of detail in play. If you think like this for each scenario and can do it quickly. This is the game sense you are seeking.
And keep in mind due to zone, damage done, positioning, and resources, within seconds a plan can change for the better or for the worst!
3 Phases
Hit box positioning
DPS
5 second battery rule
High ground and head glitches(almost guarantee to have higher DPS than opponent plus harder to push)
This is definitely a great attempt to teach positioning, but static training only does so much. I recommend players learn positioning while playing - specifically learn positioning during a “lost” game. Both teammates need banners recovered, instead of running or fighting, run to the banners and run away. You’ll learn a lot because you’ll be thinking on your feet and be able to apply positioning under stress
For me the best way to progress is recording my gameplay and watch them later to see my mistakes and work on them
what dpi and ads sens do u use?
The problem is mostly you don't 1v1. When you cracked one and you push, his friends are already there to fight you and the one you cracked bef already back to full heal so you end up in 2v1 or 3v1 and your teammates are nowhere near you to back you up
you really just called me maidenless
"IF YOU HAVE NO MAIDENS"
It hurts right here, in my meow meow.
4:08 Elden Ring reference
So damage is rewarded with more damage, if you have good positioning?
Good positioning equals better opportunities for more damage. Dealing out damage creates opportunities for securing more positioning. Which creates bigger opportunities for more damage.
4:13 maidenless training 🥺
There’s a secret stage, it’s when you crack a gibby and he still has 200k hp he then pushes you and wipes your whole squad solo with a mastif and a wingman.
you forgot 1 important thing that happens with each stage of pushing. Phase 1 crack push up and kill the 3rd party that pushes you. Phase 2, crack push up and deal with the next 3rd party XD
But what if the enemy teammates holds the push, like you can’t get closer otherwise you get beamed.
You repositioning for a better angle, heal and peak another spot. Remember your team if one is taken out of commission will put more pressure.
It is like a game of chess. The variable is always who can do more damage at the end of the day.
If every attempt they out beam you. Its not a fight you will win and repositioning to zone is key. Otherwise the other team will aggress because they found a window to counter.
can you make a tutoral how to have the same sensivity like with 2x 3x 4x optics
Per optic settings help alot.
@@brandondean5680 ^
Go to per optics and put 2x, 3x, and 4x on 1.2 and they will feel similar to iron sights while tracking.
The specific per optics will depend on their settings.
More importantly, how is your aim so good with no barrel stabiliser 😅

Double U
I need teammates im tired of ranked solo Q.....I'm gold and I want to hit plat b4 the season ends
just go for top 6 each match. land with one team early kill them then play for endgame.
Hi dazs, great video but if your not busy could you respond to my comment and tell me what your specific numbers on ur crosshair color?
What if you can only hit your shots at a distance 😅
How do u controll recoil while tracking
Look up recoil patterns for each gun ., try mastering them without moving and add movement when you get used to the patterns
Aim smoothing
Also to be said: positioning is almost always based on your map knowledge. I’m not sure I agree with going into practice range to learn positioning. It would be way more useful to just use examples instead of taking it to the range
There's micro positioning: angles and macro positioning: spots on map
Sera became a training dummy 😔
screaming
screaming part 2
D:
i was just trying to get better and somehow got called maidenless 💀
85% Of My Random Teammates Have A Walk Forward And Spray Fire Mentality It Hurts. And It’s Always Me Against 3 Or Multiple Squads
Unfortunately yeah. Why repositioning might be the key unless you can put lots of pressure and just have better positioning. Even bad teammates who run in and spray are essentially bait lol.
Sup
I’m Diamond
!how to position! "gotta hit ur shots"
if you want it to be easy to kill the enemy, try shooting from the head
If you have no maidens lol 😂
I've spent countless hours on aim training and still garbage lol
sometimes u say decent advice but most of this is overexplaining
