I've found out this run how much better the game is if you keep this in mind. Don't treat food just as calories that you convert into work, but spend a little extra to get the better foods early on. Having a good supply of balanced foods is particuarly important if you've just unlocked a new profession, as it helps you increase your level in that profession quicker.
Great video mate. Really enjoying Eco at the moment and your playthroughs are great. Apologies if you coevered this, but can you see other players craving foods and favourites or just your own?
early game it can be SOO hard to keep any of it balanced.. your main worry early game is just having enough calories to do the work... and so far it seems like the same things are horrible or tasty... tomatoes for example seem to always be horrible... though in RL i find them tasty... how does the game decide what your character likes and doesnt like is the real question... or is it ALL preset for everyone..
This is great. Ive been chewing on charred corn and tomatoes without knowing this stuff
Oh wow, you're missing out on a lot of xp then!

Yeah that last thing you mentioned is an underrated part of having a high xp bonus!

You can see other people's favorite and least favorite once they've discovered them. Don't think you can see cravings though.
@@Loocharagaming how do you sea other players favorite foods. Great vid btw. Thanks.

It's random what your character is going to like and dislike, some servers my character loves bacon other times he's hated it!
