This short simple video, we will witness a grand Temple Ceremony right at Orchard Road infront of Ngee Ann City on last Saturdaynight. I am not sure what occasion that was for, just happen to pass by and saw this ceremony going on, so filmed down some scenes to share, as I feel that it is kind of rare to see a Temple Ceremony happening in Orchard Road. Anyone knows the history of Ngee Ann City in old days and why it call Ngee Ann? 義安？so the prayer event is actually organised by Ngee Ann kongsi. The HQ building at tank road.
By the way I think not cheap for rental of this event location. The temple must be rich.

That's really happening, is a norm for organiser to rent a location for their event. Indeed this is the first time such event bern held in the heart of Orchard road.

This is not the first time. Such event were held very often and many a times this event had incorporated to display and promote Teochew Culture etc.
