I love mine. My favourite beetween all HPs I own (HD600, Q701, MDR7506, M70X). I even "dare" to mix with them w/o Sonarworks/SoundID correction sometimes..! 😂
Having a stereo jack in each cup is actually pretty genius! It doesn't matter which end of the cable you put into which cup, it's always right. And it's prepared for driving them balanced as well while keeping the same benefit. However, I personally very much prefer having the cable on one side. It's totally possible to make balanced-driven headphones like this, and I don't believe a cable running through the headband makes any sonic difference.
The R70x stayed in my collection for a long time. Love the design, even if the plastic and pleather are a little cheap. The wings work great and the cans are super light. Really only lacking the last gasp of resolution and dynamic punch, but memory fades.

mostly what I've been using them for tbh
