    I'm 66 got normal blood pressure resting pulse rate of 57 so I gave it a shot been doing it every day for a month and a half. Feel cheated if I don't do it. Nothing beats that cool calm feeling that you get afterwards.

    I had a similar build up . I went from cold showers to buying and filling a pod in December . I live in England so it’s winter but the pod was about ten degrees for the first week . The second week we had a cold snap and water temperature went down to about two .
    …….The calm , that’s the one ! I know there is loads of other science regarding various benefits but for me the calm headedness is the hook .

    What a great post brother! Everything you said I'm experiencing. I didn't think of the patience it's brought me but come think of it I've been super patient with me kids. I'm on day 15 of 11min at 45°. The other big thing is when I'm in high pressure moments in sports I'm so calm and able to deliver like never before. Almost like my nerves are calm and settled. This might be the greatest thing I've done for myself. Thanks again for your post! 🤍🧊💪

    I live in florida, converted my old freezer chest to a cold plunge (caulked seems, fill with water, then use an ink bird temp regulator)... first plunge was this morning! I had it set to 48', ill slowly lower that im sure

    You're so cutting edge Kyle... I saw something that I think you will enjoy. It's a technique called (surf the urge) it applies what we learned through breath holding to life!. If I knew how to link it up I would link it up but I don't know how to do that on CZcams. The idea is that once you've learned to resist the urge to breathe through breath holding you can resist the urge to overeat you can resist the urge to over sex you can resist the urge to over anything! Training your brain to surf the urge till it's gone... It's on the channel mindset mentor) try it for one day is the name of the video.

    Thanks for the video! I live in a warm place, suffer from muscles pain after surfing session, do you think that ice bath for only once a week can help? Or must do it every day?

      Listen to Andrew Huberman. I think 11 mins a week is the minimum that you want to aim for if you want to increase brown fat.

      You really don’t need to do it everyday, I personally find ice baths addicting because I’m ADHD af and it shuts my active mind off but something is better than nothing!

      @@maskedraiderz8858I have ADHD . I was telling a friend the other day that cold starts to the morning are the most beneficial thing I have I tried or used . Like the ADHD medications but without the grotty side effects . I don’t get the frenetic energy which I hear people talk about ,I get more so a calm clarity which makes me kore productive if that makes sense ?

    Love it. From Florida here and yes. Cold shower is never really cold but I still do it after my workouts and is so good for my emotional state. Thank you for the tip. Will def keep doing it and will get that tube and try with ice bags and see how it goes. Thank you.

    I’ve always wondered if ice baths decrease your weight to much, for example if it makes u too skinny

      It increases your metabolism, and if your goal muscular hypertrophy, you should wait at least 4 hours after a workout.
