Back in the day, the original piece was 'one music too many '. They have all the talents to continue into the future we have today. What if they had a different name instead of loose ends.!! Name plays a significant role in world !. But it would be cheering to us if they can still be good friends.

After viewing this clip I've only now come to the conclusion that there are in fact 2 different groups using the name Loose Ends. There's the one frm this clip which features Carl, and there's another which features Jane..... Both feature at least one original member, and (though I've now seen both versions) , they seem to be equally satisfying. This happens all the time w/groups who have disbanded... +erica c They never reconciled their differences which finances broke them apart. Years ago I spoke with Carl and he told me that they were a thing of the past due to Steve owning money to Carl. Not really sure why he parted with Jane, but Steve and Carl broke up due to borrowing and never pay back type of deal. Carl, he was real bitter behind this too. Jane, she got her own band under the group name as well. Otherwise, I don't know what's up with Steve currently.

@Stardomchild so true! Sad that Jane and Steve didn't want to change what worked for the group. I understand a group wanting to grow, but if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. The last Loose Ends album proved that. The public wanted Jane and Steve. The album was alright, but nothing like the previous ones.

That happens at times. Same with Talk Talk, the singer wanted to go more experimental and the band broke up. Or the greed of Limahl from Kajagoogoo. Or the Portuguese band Madredeus. It is always the same, the band breaks up because there is always someone on an ego trip who is not happy with the way things are, even if they are very good. And in the end nobody wins, usually everybody loses...
