    This Olukai sandals review takes a look at the key features, pros and cons of their Hawaiian-inspired men’s and women’s Ohana flip flops.
    Olukai is a values-led footwear company focused on creating quality men’s and women’s beach sandals, shoes, and slippers with sustainability in mind. Their footwear is well-made, uses sustainable materials, and doesn’t need to be frequently replaced, making it a more sustainable buying choice.
    I was curious to try out these Ohana sandals, as I kept seeing them online and on other people’s feet at the beach and campgrounds, and was wondering what makes them so popular.
    At a price point of $75, they’re not the most expensive beach sandals out there, but worth researching before you buy, to ensure they’re suitable for your needs. Hopefully, this review is helpful to you in deciding whether they’re the right sandals for you.

    Nice video. I like this type of content as it helps me a lot to know people's experience. I have a pair of these olukai and they are quite good, comfortable and durable. And as you say, to take care of your feet it is always better to buy this type of flip flops with good arch support, especially for those who practice sports and then need to recover. I also recommend reef flip flops, what other quality brands have you used? I would like to see the progress of these flip flops over time or new reviews of other pairs.
    Thank so much!

    I have 2 pairs, I wear them daily on cobblestones here in Mexico. I average about 10 -11 miles per week since I don't have a car. After 3 years of this I cannot discern any noticeable wear on the soles, the soles are getting a bit less cushy though. Bottom line I wouldn't trade them for any other shoe. Also, I now have a huge muscle in the middle of the front of the sole of my foot. Amazing flips!!!!

    man you know how to give a proper review! i need only to decide on what size. I have a flat foot very wide foot no arthritis or anything …and I usually buy a men’s running shoes.
    much better because of that thick piece on the top women’s are like one little tiny ribbon of stuff that inflicts pain and then breaks I don’t want that

    These comments are crazy, these are one of the most durable comfortable sandals on the market. I’ve had these for 7 years and I’ve taken them all over the world. Just dropped money on the $120 leather pairs which are even more durable.

    Man this was a good video review of your Olukai flip flops 🩴 you have. I am looking at a pair that I like to get. My boss has a pair & he let me try them on when we went out to get something to eat when we was hanging out & I didn't want to take them off when we got back to is house they were that comfortable. Me & my boss only wear flip flops 🩴 we are almost the same size he is a sz16 3E wide feet 🦶 & I am a sz15 6 E wide feet 🦶 with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe & his flip flops 🩴 fit me just fine. My boss doesn't have very chubby fat wide toes like I do so I was surprised. I am looking to getting a pair of these cuz they are so comfortable to wear. Like you said I like how wide they are with me having very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across & all of my toes were on the footbed say a lot for me because my flip flops 🩴 that I got now both of my lil toes hang off the footbed of my flip flops 🩴 & all of my flip flops have been like that for 20 some years now. I really like how you show the Difference between the 2 flip flops you have. On the blue flip flops 🩴you could see how your big toe worn down the front of the footbed down. I am surprised that my big toe have not done that before since I have very fat chubby wide toes. My big toe is 2" inches wide & the rest of my toes are lil over 1" inches wide so I have some chubby fat wide toes. I guess that the piece you pay for being a chubby fat dude. The picture of you wearing your Olukai flip flops 🩴 on looks awesome man. It good to see what the flip flops 🩴 look like being on. You can see how you toes are spread out on the footbed & the flip flops 🩴 are made for wide feet 🦶 that is good to show. This is why I am looking at Olukai flip flops 🩴. I am looking for a flip flops 🩴 that all of my toes to fit on but it hard when you got toes like mine that are Evenly straight across instead of having toes that are at a 45° Degrees angle like your toes are. I have what they call box toes but my wife love my box toes. She said my box toes look so cute with me having very chubby fat wide toes & wearing flip flops 🩴. This was a good video man thanks you so much for making this video. I like to comment on good video like this one.

    First pair I bought lasted a month, replacement pair lasted 2 months before falling apart…. Both pairs failed where the strapping is attached to the sole of sandal.

      For how long do you reckon the outsole will last? Also, when it does eventually wear out, can they be resoled or are they assembled using cemented construction?

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  Před 2 lety

      @@AlMurtaqa I think the outsole will last a long time as the material is durable and the lugs tread is deep. I don't think you can re-sol e these sandals

      Most comfortable sandal I've ever worn. I have tried many and am on my feet all day. My ugly crocs were supposed to be super comfortable, they are short term but have no support for long days on my feet.

    I don’t like sandals, as they look sloppy for use beyond the beach or home. It’s like wearing pajamas in public. I did buy a pair of their Nalu slides & they’re brutally uncomfortable … front edge of the “leather” grinds into my feet. Their products are not Hawaiian either - right out of China like too many other brands. I won’t go so far as to call their products junk, but nothing special either.

    • @whewdoggie1
      @whewdoggie1 Před rokem +5

      Personally I dont care what people think of the way I look or dress. But then I am not insecure. The only thing better for your feet than sandals is barefoot, which isn't practical running around all day on pavement. They are designed in Hawaii and they are a great company with excellent customer service. I have the same slides, third pair actually. The front edge just needs a week or two to break in. After that you don't feel it at all. The insoles and support are outstanding.
