You may download mods from internet,like friends for life mod Which unlock most of the dlc outfits and vehicles. Btw is it the definitive edition? Actually i don't know about Mafia 2 since i also didn't install any mods to unlock these dlcs .

Man this is such a mixed bag. Some of them are definitely an improvement like the Magnum, the .38 or IMO shotgun (it sounds so much more meaty), but some of them are atrociously bad...
definitive edition sounds are terrible! all the guns now sound less powerful, I think the only good improvement was the 1911 Semi pistol in the definitive edition but every other gun sounds worse
Original Shotgun sound is the best forever

They ruined the gunshot sounds for the remastered one🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ the original sound way better with more power

I didn't know about this... now I'm glad I haven't touched the definitive edition, apart from the disk space.

If they would’ve made it, the defense of addition they could’ve just put the old gun sounds on it I wish it was updated like that.

original generally has too much bass, for my taste, so it's not really better...M1 remastered = worst gunsounds (audiomixdown)
