  • HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!
    We're making our version of JNCO Jeans, These were really big in the early 2000s, and the silhouette is great. I like the baggy look, and I really like how these turned out. Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

    Dude thank you so much. My son wanted to make homemade JNCO jeans with pants he had thrifted & was so lost until this video, I grew up with my grandmother & she taught me to sew, but for newer styles I feel so amateur so thank you!!!

    these are reaaaally cool!!!!! the neon thread was such a good idea! and i think your editing and the way you show how you do what you're doing is getting so much better with time, it's getting so much easier to understand. and can you please show how you do the waist band in a future video? ♥♥♥

    This is s cool. I could never afford JNCO jeans when I was younger and I have some deadstock denim that I found at the flea market. Thank you for the inspiration.

    I wish to have you as my best friend: I spent tons of money paying my tailor for my customized baggies. And they're still not so wide, I mean, yeah they're very very wide but not as these ones and not so cool. And in the end of the day I still have just 2 pairs.

    If you had an Etsy or Inspire Uplift store and you were selling these, I would buy a pair of them.

    Adjustable samurai pants. Hey the concept sounds interesting. Way different than my jncos which I liked mostly because I could put my drumsticks in the back pockets. Lol

    Not a fan of the saggy pockets but it can still be cool and fire 👽🔥❗ overall it is a remarkably great job and looks so so so dope 👌👌👌 Summer 1998 I swear I saw a pair of these with neon green contrast thread just like this. The little zipper detail is so cool. 🌿🗿🌿

    I used to have wide legged jeans in late 90s/y2k not quite as wide as those though. I might try sewing a pair but will probably taper the waist so there's not as much bulk round my middle. 😅

    This is almost exactly what I'm wanting to do. I just don't know how to do the pattern. I have a pair of JNCO Jeans and, I truly love them and I love the brand and style, but they're far too long and the crotch is down to my knees. I will not touch them to hem them because I love these jeans. So I bought five yards of denim so that I can make my own jeans similar to hakama but close to the JNCO style.

    How long was the zipper and what kind of thread did you use for the contrast thread?

    • @thetAlltAilor
      @thetAlltAilor  Před 4 měsíci

      I believe it was 6 inches or so. For the thread I use 2 strands of neon green thread

    • @thetAlltAilor
      @thetAlltAilor  Před 8 měsíci

      I'd probably say the closest would be to get some really big pants and just reduce the waist and just wear it like that

      Not baggy enough in my opinion

    • @tylerwright09
      @tylerwright09 Před 3 měsíci

      think the key is to have it baggier around the feet. like the twin cannons. or fatter around the mid leg that could look cool

  • @jewely777gee
    @jewely777gee Před 8 měsíci

    I dunno - I feel like maybe the pleats were not the way to go - and perhaps a bit of a taper up to the waist would have been better?!

    • @thetAlltAilor
      @thetAlltAilor  Před 8 měsíci +1

      That's fair, I definitely could've done them differently but the pleats make them look extra baggy imo
