    thank you for explaining all the little overlooked details of each clipper! Nice video, priceless game... but me personally, I would clean my clippers before making a video with them, even if it was immediately after being done with a client. But nice video once again.

    • @barberslounge
      @barberslounge  Před rokem

      Ehhhh, if spraying it doesn’t quiet it down. It’s probably where the motor rotated the blade. There should be a plastic piece there between the motor and the blade that rotates it. It gets worn or and more slack creates more noise. If you can get that small part it may quiet it down

    • @mehr84
      @mehr84 Před 2 měsíci

      If it’s noisy think about replacing the cam follower, look up tutorials it’s a very easy process and you should be good

    Been using BaByliss clippers for more than 2 years now. If your lever behaves like that - just tighten the screw on it, should be as good as new

    I actually prefer the Masters. And the magnetic guard system. But so many ppl trash them. Lol I don't understand why. I've been cutting with the red Wahl's, I forget the name of them. I do not like them. The cuts I do with the masters are way better. But I am excited to try out some new clippers and see what else I can add.

      I agree!

    • @BobaDavis
      @BobaDavis Před 11 měsíci +1

      It's probably a case of which fading system you prefer: A full range clipper, as opposed to a half range clipper. The red clipper you referred to is a Magic Clip but it's the lesser version of the Cordless Seniors.

    • @nyquitacharles9146
      @nyquitacharles9146 Před 11 měsíci

      @@BobaDavis yeah so I had more time to use them, and I started to like the Magic Clips. However, I like them mostly for how light they are and when I need to smooth out a blend on straight hair. I'm thinking about getting an Oster cordless clipper or the seniors or the rebels, next.
      I want something with power, that's also light and bc I'm a woman with small hands, something I can control more easily.
      I still like my masters but after using them everyday all day, my wrist started bothering me. So I went back and forth with the 76ers, magic clips, and seniors. And used my masters for black hair or balding fades with the fade master.

    • @BobaDavis
      @BobaDavis Před 11 měsíci +1

      @@nyquitacharles9146 Yeah, a lot of the newer clippers are lighter. A good tip is to not use you wrist to flick but your elbow joint, instead.

      @@barberslounge I've been cutting my own hair for like 2 decades ( medium fade, close not bald) and I've been ok with using the colored wahls lmao. I was thinking of upgrading but a lot of stuff on the fade master is that "It's not recommended for beginners because of the straight blade" you're the the first I've seen that said you don't like the masters blade. The regular masters blade seemed super thick to me too which is why I was researching more. I don't think I'd be considered a beginner, maybe a novice ... but that's what's making me hesitant about getting the fade master: the idea that you need a higher skill level to use it.
