I put my dog to sleep last week. It felt like my heart was ripped out, it still hurts. I believe God gave us dogs to show us how to love unconditionally. I know he is in a better place but I miss him everyday.

Sept. 19th, 2023 is when my yellow 💛 lab mix. Passed away. I had no idea that my soul mate left. At age 12.5 years old, I wailed for a good 10 mins. I 😢 at least once a day! If i don't catch myself, it could be much higher
I really believe God made dogs as special companions to humans. There's something missing in life without a dog. We lost our Sissy awhile ago and I swear sometimes I still feel her around. She was a sweetheart and I believe we'll see her again one day. We sure miss you girl!!
I lost my dog princess on good Friday 2022 and my heart is broken into pieces and heavy, I never cried so hard for days and nights I had her for like 14 years, when I die I wanna go where she went I love her she was amazing caring sweet loving always forgiving scared of thunder, I'll never forget her i miss her so much!!!! I lost my Henry yesterday. This is the hardest grief ive experienced in my life. He was my buddy, my bestfriend always by my side always so excited to see me. My brother tells me he recognized my car sound and would run to the front when I came home. He was my best friend and ill always thank him for that. I lost my beloved service dog 28 days, 4 weeks ago yesterday. I know for a fact that my Tucker is in heaven, and he had my father there to welcome him when he arrived. Whether you believe in medium's/psychic's or not, I have one that assured me that my Tucker arrived in heaven, but that he prefers to go back and forth between heaven and my dad, to visiting us back here on earth. I know that he has visited, as I have seen my other dog watch and engage with him. I know I may sound wacky, but I truly believe. I can't wait for the day that I am reunited with my sweet boy. 11 years just wasn't enough time with him.
The only way I am able to get through the day right now and deal with the death of one of my rescue dogs (March 31, 2020) is the hope I will see her again in Heaven. Being a pet lover since I was a kid, this songs brings emotion from deep inside my soul. I have had several over many years that have gone home and my grief has been immense. In the last years I have had rescues that were abused and neglected. I lost my girl Marley on Wednesday. I fell to my knees and let out a sound I didn’t even recognize, I’ve never cried that hard in all my life the moment the vet said “she’s gone.” I kept saying I love you I love you... please come back to me one day...” I was hysterical. I lost my baby ollie gizmo this Tuesday night. I miss caring him up to bed- his back legs were bad, miss taking him out in morning and during day and before bed. There’s no better friend than a dog. Ollie would I’d been14 April 6. He’s in Heaven for sure. Beautiful song!!💜
I got a call from my daughter a couple of years ago. I ignored the call because I was on night shift, I figured I call her back in a couple of hours when I got up. She called back immediately. I answered the call it was Duke, her dog was at the emergency vet, she'd been hit by a car. When I got there she was gone. I'm a grown man, we had taken care of Duke when she worked her long hours as a nurse, she was our dog, too. Like I said, I'm a grown man, and I lost it. I balled like a baby. We put our goodie girl to sleep two months ago to end the pain of a slow death from canine leukemia. Raised hell as a puppy but grew into my wife’s shadow and protector of the family. I still hear the echoes of her patrolling the house at night. Miss her every day and my heart is torn, maybe someday the numbness will pass.

Bella died in my lap on October 22, 2023, after forteen years together. My senior westie passed yesterday, I adopted him when he was 12 1/2 years old. I believe he is heaven now and I was so blessed God gave him for me as a companion for 4 years. No more suffer and sorrow. I will meet him again in heaven . I love him so much.

My 1st dog died 2020 of age
I lost my girl Marley on Wednesday. I fell to my knees and let out a sound I didn’t even recognize, I’ve never cried that hard in all my life the moment the vet said “she’s gone.” I kept saying I love you I love you... please come back to me one day...” I was hysterical. I am struggling SO bad and stayed up all night just listening to this song on repeat. Thankyou so much for this. 😭💕 If you ever come to Indiana, will you sign Marley’s picture saying “dogs in heaven”- David 😢

I lost my baby ollie gizmo this Tuesday night. I miss caring him up to bed- his back legs were bad, miss taking him out in morning and during day and before bed. There’s no better friend than a dog. Ollie would I’d been14 April 6. He’s in Heaven for sure. Beautiful song!!💜
I got a call from my daughter a couple of years ago. I ignored the call because I was on night shift, I figured I call her back in a couple of hours when I got up. She called back immediately. I answered the call it was Duke, her dog was at the emergency vet, she'd been hit by a car. When I got there she was gone. I'm a grown man, we had taken care of Duke when she worked her long hours as a nurse, she was our dog, too. Like I said, I'm a grown man, and I lost it. I balled like a baby. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know exactly how you felt/feel.

I have lost many from old age and/or disease, just like we lose our human folks. The four that I have now are all seniors, so I get this. We put our goodie girl to sleep two months ago to end the pain of a slow death from canine leukemia. Raised hell as a puppy but grew into my wife’s shadow and protector of the family. I still hear the echoes of her patrolling the house at night. Miss her every day and my heart is torn, maybe someday the numbness will pass.

I’m very blessed to meet a lot of dogs everyday due to the job that I do. They truly are mans best friend.
Bella died in my lap on October 22, 2023, after forteen years together. She was my only family and now I'm alone, but I prayed that I'd outlive her so she'd never have to be rehomed or go to a pound, God forbid, but she gave me her best every day we had together and I don't know how to express my gratitude for that. Dogs are so much better then people when it comes down to it and my life was made better just by her presence in it. See you soon, boo boo!
