- My new bike is epic - The first ride! I take my new bike to the local MTB trails and have a shred session with Lewi Pilgrim. We hit jumps, gaps and berms on these Haibike electric bikes, which one do you prefer?
Me and Lewi Pilgrim both just received our new 2020 Haibike allmtn bikes and we thought that after building them up that it was time to get into the woods and have a shred session on our local trails. The bikes feel really good and the one I was given is the Haibike ALLMTN 3.0 and Lewi was on the higher specced 3.5 model. Bothe these bikes come with the new Bosch motor and new bigger 625 wh battery which lasts a whole lot longer for more riding time! Our local spot is perfect for testing bikes because there are a load of different jumps and trails to get airtime and speed along. These new bikes are different to last year with the main feature being that they have a 29'' front wheel with a 27.5 on the back. I instantly changed back to 27.5 front and rear but lewi is rocking the new configuration. After building the bike in a matter of minutes I go about upgrading some of the parts including the wheels, grips and tyres before packing the bikes up and getting out on the trails.

what's wrong with Maxxis? I mostly drove Maxxis on my DH bike years ago. or has he a conflict with Conti being a sponsor?

@Charles McMullan as long as they are tight fitting. I've ridden in them before and they work pretty well! They do some black ones which look pretty smart
When you ride like that, wear what works and you feel comfortable in.

fuck binge watching. I just did 18 miles today at 10k. Did a 15 miler yesterday at 7k and two days before that I hit 12 miles and some jump tables. Colorado is under lock down but the state parks are still open and people are allowed to participate in outdoor recreation for exercise.

Everyone is tripping that he got a flat . If you ride like Sam any tire is in severe trouble. I love both brands. Props for keeping in in the video. People think like " oh every continental tire must be prone to punctures ". I have destroyed 2 rims now on one pair of continental tires and the same exact tires are still on my bike. #keepit100%

Maxxis is in the top 10 on 4 out of 10 best MTB tires and them 4 sites list it at 9 or 10 all 10 sites list Continental as the best MTB tire shit its on half the list 3 different times with different models lol no tire is better not a opinion its a fact. Years as a bike messenger in N.Y ive tired every tire ended with continentals my 2nd fav for city riding mide you is a set of Goodyear tires with Goodyear tubes. Dirt conies all day motorized bicycles back to the Goodyear combo. Maxxis hookworms are awesome but only the 1st 100miles after that they soooo thin you can almost see through them at 55psi lol
