It never made sense to me why Fran would hire a nanny since the youngest Gracie is around 12 to 13 years old during this time and Fran said Maggie was too old for a nanny when she was around the same age. I mean I get the reason behind it that Fran wanted Max to start thinking of her as his wife instead of his nanny but still. There had to have been other ways.
Maybe it’s more like it’s an experience Fran, to be the lady of the house and try to act the role of the higher up. It seems like the nanny still takes care of the kids and probably other stuff such as eating, and taking the kids to clubs
Well to be fair, Fran wasn't really much of a Nanny most of the time. She was more like the kids older friend who was trying to seduce their father.
This is literally the whole joke, that she really wasn’t much of a nanny and more like a wife and that’s why he married her.
... She literally said so in the clip... I just hope they realized they need the chauffeur to handle it instead.
