Amtrak Capitol Limited Brunswick Md 5 July 2021 HD 30p

Second of a pair of videos of the same westbound train. This is a new low-end Sony CX405 bought for taking model train videos. For fun, thought I'd get out to take clips of a real train for comparison purposes against a Samsung Galaxy S20+ phone. The Sony is HD 30p, the Samsung is 4K. The Sony was on tripod, the Samsung juggled handheld at the same time until I stopped to rotate the tripod to follow the train. No question who the winner was in this case! But that's no surprise...

Thanks. This is the first real train video I'd taken in a couple of years. It's a good way to test new camcorders. Brunswick is a good site for catching the Capitol Limited twice a day and freight trains generally if you're patient. I think I filmed four freights there one afternoon. But it's hot in the summer!
