Following are the details about the places we visited as part of this episode.
Introduction - Kudle beach - we saw Kudle beach from distance, we were actually on way to Om beach to start our day, that is when we saw Kudle beach from height, it was an amazing view.
Om Beach - This is one of the most popular sea beach of Gokarna, name of the beach is so because it is in the shape of OM.
Sea beaches visit on Boat from Om beach - we paid Rs 4000 for this journey of one hour and fifteen minutes, where the boat man took us to Paridise beach, Half moon beach, we also saw the river and sea meeting point- confluence and also had a look at and old watch tower.
If you wish to trek and reach these points , you can do that, reaching these beaches may take upto 2 hours from gokarna.
    Temple visit at Gokarna:
We visited MahaGanapathi temple and Shree Mahabaleshwar temple, both are in the heart of the city.
After the temple visit we went to have Bhojan prasad , which is served at a walking distance from Shree Mahabaleshwar temple.
Tambri parni Teertha - people visit this place for Asthi visarjan, we visited this place to pay our visit to this holy location.
Ram Teertha - This is near Gokarna beach - view of this location is really nice, its like looking at sea beach from height. Ram Teertha is the place where Lord Ram has done meditation and prayer.
Carving on rock - Walking distance from Ram Teertha
Library - This is an old library, though not maintained well.
Sanikatta - This place is famous for salt extraction from sea water.
Mangrove forest - we halted at this place for some time to have a look at the forest.
Estuary point - This is a beautiful point.
Pai restaurant -Food at this restaurant was above average, during my tour of Gokarna i learnt that as of you may not get to see good restaurants in Gokarna.
We did our night stay at Vedic village homestay-this homestay is located at a 3 to 4 km distance from Om beach.
Tariff at this homestay is Rs 5000 for one day , 4 people can stay here , tariff includes breakfast .
Our stay at this place was quite comfortable.
Hope you enjoyed watching this episode, we look forward to hear from you, if you have any query, please feel free to write to us in comments below

Poor man, he is unable to express honest opinion; if he does he will face consequences. There must be negatives which he is hiding, personal preferences could be different, expectations can differ etc. etc.

During the 90s we used to reach all these beaches by foot.. from Kudle we walked up the hill and along the cliff until we see e way down towards Om beach.....from Om beach again we climbed to the top and walked until we could walk down again towards Paradise beach....and again to Half moon beach ... it was adventurous... you felt like an explorer.....I even walked from Kudle to Half Moon beach alone on a full moon night to join a friend who was staying there alone under some trees......at 4am we heard funny noises ....we went to look towards the beach and in the little light we saw dozens of sea lions!!!!! When you are fearless God walks with you!!! From an adventurous lady who's always been protected by the grace od God 😊

One of the reasons Coastal karnataka is underrated and comparatively less exposed is Goa. People flock to Goa like mad which now is too commercialized and over crowded resulting in extreme Tourism. I've been to Goa some years ago and the market there looked like Mumbai's Crawford market and calangute beach reminded me of Juhu Beach and other lesser known beaches in South Goa is slowly catching up. Hope Coastal karnataka escapes this crazy Goa trend for some generations to come

Indeed, Karnataka has the cleanest beaches in India (let's keep Andaman and lashwadeep aside for a while) till date, and the main reason behind it is the crowd. Om beach and other Gokarna beaches are slowly losing its charm for all the wrong reasons. Hope local authorities do something about it.

Coastal as well as the dense forest of Karnataka are amazing.
My wife has her grand parents from here, just as much as she enjoyed the beaches at her maternal side families, althought i know she'd have loved the beach culture... but not having any of that has kept the place pristine.
About the hills, she was too afraid of the leopard and tigers to step outside the house at her father's side family. She laughs even today at how she, our son and my sil cried the first night out there and made plans to pack up the next morning itself, which they did actually.
I was surprised to see my wife, son, mil, sil back home in four days 😁😁😁😁

I love the way you describe the history of Hindu temples in details. Many of the new generation people will never come to know about our own and thousands year old civilization. And culture. I stayed near coastal Karnataka during my course at Manipal University. Thanks for connecting the historical links. Great work Harish Jee.I am staying in Delhi, would like to meet sometime here.
