Chilchuck being the only one to have canonically fucked is gonna mess with me
😆hah!
Omg I didn't think about it but yeah you're right, that's really gonna change the dynamic of the whole group lmaooo
@@WillGlacierHe is the oldest of the group, which makes senshi treating him like a child is so much funnier
Senshi really explained the birds and the bees to a grown ass man with kids.
Context. The thing Marcille did is called skyfish or Rod. Is a supposed cryptid that shows up on pics sometimes. Is also the things one of Dio's sons used to fight Joleene
Fun fact: it’s actually an optical illusion caused by bugs that fly faster than camera’s shutter speeds.
@@CorrectFossa or at least that's what THEY want you to believe
I think Alicia would know this, Stone Ocean was her favourite part IIRC
@@CulcoyoteCosmico Dude, it was so definitively debunked there's no wiggle room for it's existence. You can literally google how to created your own rod photo without any digital tricks simply via exposure time, etc. Even flatearthers have more to stand on than the rod believers.
@@DejectedCat That what THEY will say to deceive you TRUST NO ONE
I love how in the dub when they see her wiggling with the Rod, they just go: "What is she even doing?"
"Her Best. I think..."
Chil's attitude all this time can noow be explained as divorced dad energy
Actually Chilchuck was not get divorced, his wife just left him and his children were already grown out.
@@GabrielFreezers yeaaaah, but "grumpy separated dad" doesn't have the same vibe XD
You can also tell he’s a girl-dad with how easily he gives in to Marcille and Izutsumi sleeping with him. He was fighting for his life with a big-ass tall-man teenager sleeping on his chest.
Our favorite cat-girl realizing how she was behaving. 😆
She was being cute n funni
Not only chilchuck has a wife and daughters, but he also hasn't seen them in years smh
Wife and (spoilers)
ADULT daughters
He left to go buy milk
@@TheSodiumazide hey no spoiling now, that's a funny surprise reveal later
He didn't leave, his wife just took their daughters and left. Because he was an absentee father who was never around.
@@TheSodiumazideWait, Chillchuck is 29. How does that math?
Yo, I had that exact same experience with a goat. They put me in charge of feeding him every day, not telling me the goat was supposed to be the main course for an upcoming wedding feast. They didn't even bother to distract me when they slaughtered him. Just did it right in front of me.
Goat trauma solidarity! 😭
Marcille wiggling on the ground just destroyed me 😂
It’s even better in English dub:
Izutsumi:“What the hell is she doing now?!”
Laios, completely serious:”Her best.”
@@sirsmiteful6285the dub is so peak
@@gemsngold It really is.
Can we talk about how young Senshi look like Steven Universe?
And as we will probably learn from that Griffin, will get to experience some horrible trauma
You're right. So right... I now can't unsee it.
Was going to comment this, glad I wasn't the only one
Thank fuck I wasn't the only one who thought this lmao
Good to know I'm not alone in thinking this.
tbf there's been hints with senshi
the 10 years monster food vs the 6 years dungeon discovery
they mentioned the dungeon intersects with dwarven mines
senshi said he used to be in a mine but he wasn't good
he said his pot was passed down as a shield
There are a couple more, but they are well hidden. Next episode will be some great fridge brilliance.
Now this got me thinking: dwarves are longer-lived than tallmen and half-foot. Senshi considers Chilchuck young at 29 years old. Yet we see memories of him discovering the castle when he was a kid. It must mean that he and his team discovered it a long time ago, and he only started studying the dungeon for food ten years ago. What the heck happened to Senshi in the meantime for him to end up alone and with such a different job?
@@vianneyb.8776 Considering he is wearing one of the helmets of the dwarves he went in with + it's got a crack in it and ofc his fear of Grifins, think it's obvious that they went in, all of them except him died, he took up his comrades helmet as protection, and then proceeded to live within the dungeon, hence why he is so used to it
4:59 It's not just embarrassment about being friendly. It's about a loss of agency since her conscious mind wasn't in the driver's seat for any of that. A loss of agency that forced her to act opposite how her normal instincts and choices. A few days after finally being free of her compliance tattoo. This is feeling violated by a loss of control.
21:15 Revengie for Giga Double-headed Flame Ice Dragon. If Laois can't have his fav so cant she
She wasn't upset because "it was her favorite". She was upset because if he had cut it while the spell was active he would've killed her.
@@facundomontivero2299 I mean the other familiars were killed and she was fine. Where does it say if the familiar spell was active she'd die?
@@rosenrot234 Maybe I'm wrong.
That's what I thought her reaction was. But now idk.
Anyone else notice how YOUNG Senshi looks in that flashback? That sure as heck wasn't 10 years ago, especially if dwarves live for 250 years!
It would probably have happened long before the people from the surface found the ruins, with dwarves hiding the dungeon's existence to exploit it better untill something bad happened.
I dunno I'm just thinking before the next episode i won't read the manga until after the anime ends so I'll pick up from were it leaves off
It was 10 years ago that he started studying monsters for cooking purposes, they must have discovered it well before then
I THINK he said "over ten years" when they met, so that is technically accurate no matter how much more than ten years it's been. lol
Chilchuck is now “Papa Chuck” :P
Chucklefuck Timbs
Chilchuck chilFUCKS XD
21:25 i hate what laios did to familiar but forgot that marcille also crush the laios design so this scene seem fair for some reason 😂
All the components used to make those familiars remained in the familiars, including Marcille's hair. There is side content where they asked where the hair went and it turns out it was in the wings. The wings were the only part that Izutsumi was eating. Well what happens when a cat eats too much hair or fur...?
🤢
🤮
Sooo like... Whats gonna happen?
@@navalinomilzamashshidqi5384 cats vomit it back up. Cats are known for hacking up hairballs. Laios is naturally really excited at learning that Izutsumi also does this.
@@navalinomilzamashshidqi5384 CPR
@@navalinomilzamashshidqi5384 I take you haven't had a cat. They vomit it back up in a hairball.
You have seen a sky fish before, it's also featured in Jojo!
Oh dang, that goat story. Very appropriate for this arc of the anime...
Seeing her happily sing about “griffin meat”…
and Senshi's past was kind of foreshadowed since the beginning of the story, I remember some characters mentioning on the passing that this dungeon was originally discovered by a group of dwarves that dug in too deep, and now we come to find out Senshi was part of that party
23:00 This is some Silence of the Lambs stuff. Why does this happen so often? Do they not notice a child is playing with the animal? Could they not select another? Are they doing this on purpose to teach the child a lessen? I know animals get slaughtered at certain times but, can they not wait until the child has left to do it?
Some folks that regularly do this try to remind kids where their food comes from. I think it really depends on where someone grew up. Marcille is still a city girl so I get her reaction.
If remember correctly some Japanese schools make the children raise chickens as pets, then kill and eat them to learn the value of their food
They certainly do see the child playing with the animal, they do that because they think they're "thoughening" you up bc they don't know how to teach kids about food and death in a healthy way. On the flip side you have people who shelter kids from the concept of death in general bc they see children as dolls that must remain pure forever.
The dub of Senshi's meltdown and scream while running from the Grifen is SO RAW. Sungwon absolutely crushed it
In general he does a Fantastic Senshi.
"Bread! Bread! Bread! Bread!"
19:15 It's like Laios said: no extrenious details; every part has to have a purpose.
Lastly, have you seen the anime 'Buddy Daddies?' It's about these 2 male colleagues who end up with the custody of a young girl, around 4-6yo. It's hecka adorable and will make you squee in delight, terror, and saddness.
That's a really fun one that I really don't recall seeing a lotta people talk about.
I had a friend who used to be a back-to-the-land Hippie type. They were city folk who briefly tried living on a farm. She tells a story of a cow they raised named "Herman". She got supper attached to it, and when it came time to turn Herman into steak, she refused to eat any of it. Until the very last batch, when it smelled so good she broke down and had some, and it was the best steak she'd ever tasted. She still regrets not eating more of him.
Don't worry Alicia, I have a similar story when I was young about my great grandmother on the farm who would let me pet and hold the bunnys she was raising on her porch every time our family visited. Unfortunately meemaw didn't make a stew, she made rabbit roast and offered us to pick at it (T_T).
(Tasted really good though!)
Something I wonder about those "being forced to eat your animal bff" stories - do the adults at least TRY to hide the fact that you're eating them and the kids are just smart enough to put 2 and 2 together, or do they just straight up tell them and expect them to be okay with it? At least give them a circle of life talk or something instead of just going "stfu and eat your goat" 😬
Yeah like, at least do what Laios do in that scene "a way to not dishonour them, is to eat them" something like that
They straight up tell the kids, sometimes even calling the animal by the name the kid gave them. My dad told me about how when this shit happened to him when he was a kid he refused to eat even after he was beaten bloody. Yes, you read that right. It's not about teaching the child about the circle of life, it's about punishing them for bonding with an animal. Anyway my dad cut that part of the family out of his life and rightfully so.
To be fair, Laios is only interested in the details of monsters, not other people.
This has some of my favorite Alicia funny moments in a while, especially her protests of her VR experiences XD
small fact - messenger fairy canary used in previsious episode basically same spell, but proficient enough to summon small one without preparation and control without "vr mode". still vulnerable to death of familar anyway
They also require some MUCH grosser ingredients to create.

Like... What? Your own blood, Saliva, or poop?
@@navalinomilzamashshidqi5384 Blood, semen, and poop. The process historical alchemists said was used to make homunculi, basically.
@@navalinomilzamashshidqi5384seminal fluids+herbs+horse manure+other stuff(they just put “etc” in the manga), then you have to feed your little gelatinous abomination with blood for 40 weeks at which point it should have become a fairy homunculus
@@navalinomilzamashshidqi5384 | Yes, yes, and yes. Also seminal fluids. And blood must be fed to it every day for 50 days without fail. That's why they resemble their creators.
I have a completely different pet food story..
My dad has a friend, who lives in the mountains with his family and they raise animals for their family's consumption... they have little daughters, who have grown up like this... and they literally showed us their rabbits and chickens and were like "look how pretty it is, it's going to be a great broth or roast" 🤣🤣🤣 and I was like 👀💀.
.
.
Although it also happened to me that when I lived in the country, our neighbor had chickens and we had a Russel terrier... let's just say that more than once we had to eat chicken soup...🤣🤣
Something similar happened to my mom back when she was a kid. My grandfather bought a goat for the purpose of killing it to eat it. However, forgot to tell my mom and her siblings. They all befriended it and named it, but never ate it.
Baby Senshi really looks like a mix of Boji from Ranking of Kings and Steven universe
Chilchuck the deadbeat dad, Baby Senshi, and Alicia's Goat story? We're eating good
I went through a similar story as Alicia as a kid. We had owned some pigs for a while and I helped feed them and everything, then one day we ended up killing the one I took care of and named and stuff since we had them to kill and cook for a party and stuff, and I was crying about it and my dad had me hold a cup to drain the blood to use for something I can’t remember. Sad to think about, but oh well, just life
On Billy the Goat, a Dutch comedian made a song about his rabbit... he takes revenge on his dad. It's a funny song and a few years ago had an American cover too, Flappie.
Somebody need to make a meme out of liaos, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
chillchuck, the result is here..... you... are..... the father!!!!
oh man this is my favorite part of the story, next episode is about to be amazing
Well tbf, the party treat each other like a coworker at best, it's because their current quest they start opening up to each other.
I love it when Marcille went Sky High.
Still cute that Laios is so not impressed with cryptids
Man... i remember when i was small(er), we would visit my great-aunt almost every weekend, and sometimes she had a goat cooped up in the backyard, she and her wife would often sacrifice it during a religious reunion they had (it's one of those of african origins, my mother used to participate)
I mean i was old enough to know where it would end up, and that i shouldn't play with it, as to not form a link. But still. Bummed out everytime. I would spend all weekend holed up on the second floor just to not see or hear it.
call it the Laios in me, but the talk at 22:30 the whole time i was like "damn, bet Billy tasted bomb"
Doesn't that mean Senshi has been there since before it's discovery and it's because of that that he has been there for more than 10 years?
I love Marcille _so_ much man. Our goofy girl who just does weird shit sometimes, and it usually makes sense in context.
Mood, Izutsumi. The teenaged experience of remembering cringe shit you did just a week ago.
Izutsumi, my renome of badass ninja cat, nooo.
Maybe she’s worried about the fact it can fly? She’s likely just pragmatic
See... Alicia had that trauma about animals, and that was *still* with family trying to make it easier before it happened.

When visiting my grandparent's farm when I was only about 9 or so, my grandfather took one of the chickens to a stump, lopped off its head with one clean blow, then *STAPLED* its legs to the side of the chicken coop so its headless body could continue flopping around as the blood drained out. My younger brother (5 at the time) and I were ushered off instead of waiting for it to stop, but we ate the chcken that same evening. And it was then that I first tasted the difference between actually, truly fresh meat, versus frozen and cooked after thawing. I'm honestly suprised it didn't traumatize us, but I suppose we had seen animals and people dying in movies and on television already, so it didn't really hit us, in addition to seeing how quick it was, knowing there was no pain with how quick it was...
o7 for Billy the mountain goat
I felt sad when Laios killed the griffin honestly. I know it needed to be done, but still.
Next episode we'll see cool Senshi.
Anyone remember *_The Witch From Mercury?_*
Instead of questioning why the pancakes are triple or quadruple thick, I just want to know where in the real world that interpretation comes from. Because there are different takes on pancakes, but I don't know this one.

No. He only mentioned his age. What might have happened is any time Chilchuck's age comes up, there are a number of people that cannot stop themselves from screaming that he also has a wife and kids.
