I have 4C hair type! May seem weird but it warms my heart that you touched on all the types and textures.
I was scared that people would take offense to me giving advice on hair that I don't have but I wanted to include everyone because I love all my sisters! Thank you for soothing my fears.
As a woman with 4C hair, I too felt happy to be seen, valued and included in the conversation. Thank you for being inclusive! It means a lot!
Watching this as I twist my 4c hair type, after anointing it with oil cause of the dryness of this coils
@@LittleHouseOnTheMountain beautiful
Thank you!
As a hairstylist for the last 20 years, thank you for putting out this video! All your advice is sound and so good for all hair types. I will add that if you have very fun, very thin hair, you’re not necessarily doing something wrong, genetics do play a major role, but if you follow this advice, your hair can be it’s best version.
God made you the way he did on purpose ♥️
Thank you so much for the confirmation and great thoughts!
Fine, slavic hair is divine. I'm never looking to do anything except stop breakage as it grows longer. Embrace the beauty :D
I am a new subscriber and I have old hair breakage. Can I treat it and eliminate it? I have a lot of gray hair and hair loss, frizz, rough and dry hair, and I have hair gaps, especially in the front of the head.
@user-nn7jz7xg7q yes you can definitely improve the quality of your hair following the advice in this video. You may also want to watch haircare videos from a youtuber called Katherine Sewing who has category 3-4 hair which is prone to being very dry and frizzy. She fixed her damaged hair and it's extremely beautiful and long now. Your hair texture changes a little over time with hormones too, so if your hair is going grey then the texture will be slightly different from how it used to be, but you can still improve it a lot following a more natural and nourishing routine.
Ah! "The precious brain is under your hair." Great insight!
All of your hair care advice in this video is SO helpful!❤
In a world of craziness, it is beautiful to see a peaceful, kind person talking about things that are decent. My foster daughter loves your gentle heart too. Blessings, love from Canadaland.
Following childbirth, I noticed my hairfall but I remained calm. I acted to to control it. I opted for a wellness-focused strategy.
I took care of my diet, eating nutrient-rich foods, especially those high in Vitamin E and Protein.
I worked out regularly and practiced meditation for stress management.
I just stayed away from styles that pull on my hair and stopped using heated hair tools to minimise hair damage.
I even started applying LittleExtra's Coconion shampoo and hair oil along with a neem wood comb.
The result was hairfall control and the recovery of my confidence.
Did you noticed hair regrowth?
And I'm facing hairfall but the saddest part is my hair isn't re growing on scalp.
In order to not have greasy hear until your wash date I use rosemary water on my scalp every single day, try it, you will love it & be able to extend your wash day 👍🏼
What’s rosemary water ?
The last part was the best. I’ve personally suffered trying to change my hair when I was young with 0 compliments. The minute I let my natural hair be, rain of compliments were coming! I also learned the hard way to appreciate all the God giving beauty to what we contribute in the world. Being different is beautiful! Some people don’t even have hair to play with! Health is beauty! We should be grateful for every single thing! Love this video!
So glad you enjoyed it and that you are embracing your God given beauty ❤️
I've had such rollercoaster journey with my hair, I used to have type 2C/3A, and very dry hair, I always had split ends, and if I didn't use deep conditioner, or leave-in conditioner, my hair would feel like hay, so I started using a products for curly, dry and damaged hair, I tried a whole bunch of different products, and after years of that, now my hair is super thin and breaky, I get an oily scalp within a day, my curls/waves are completely gone, and it actually got to a point I had to chop my hair off use of how damaged it got from all of the drugstore products, but thanks to you, I am now starting my natural hair care journey and hopefully my hair will find its strength, volume and curls once again!
I love your approach and you’ve reminded me why natural beauty is so truthful and fulfilling! I for years have left my hair untouched, almost no cutting, no color. The allure of the stylish women or women of other eras is enticing, but allowing and accepting what God has given us, and really maintaining it with the upmost care is going to make us feel more relaxed and much more beautiful and it allows the inner beauty to show more I believe! Keep up the good work encouraging women to take care of their bodies hair and souls and bringing this light to all in the process!
I macerate plants in my apple cider vinegar during a month and half.
The plants I use are : rosemary, sage, thyme, lavender, neetle and mint.
It made a huge difference to add these plants in the vinegar for the health of my scalp and my hair. They help with hair grow, hair loss, dandruff, dermatitis, itching, etc.
Interesting. I should try this. I am always looking to level up my routine.
I've been using Calia hair products for 12 years now!! LOVE THEM. My hair is down below my waist and healthy!
Do you know what each line is for? It’s a little confusing
Thank you for this channel....I feel so much peace and wisdom when I watch this channel....it's wonderful to find a person who lives the way of Christ, where there is no room for condemnation...thank you

Yesssss! Nutrition is SOOOOO important when talking about hair, skin, and nails. It's a barometer for gut health and nutrient deficiencies
"...healing relationships with ourselves." That hit home with me. Thank you for taking the time to make this video for us 🙂
Thank you for sharing your beautiful wisdom with us!
Thank you for this info! It's awesome!
Love this! Thank you!
I stopped using conventional shampoo 5 months ago and started eating better, my hair has gotten fuller, stronger and longer. I'm still trying to find a routine that works for my hair. I use sage and lavender essential oil with olive oil for my hair about twice a month. It smells amazing and helps my hair so much! This was a very good informative video!
Then what do u use as a shampoo to wash ur hair?
Following! Would love to know how you replaced the shampoo and how you apply the sage mixture
@@ashwinidombale7158 what shampoo do you use then and how do you mix the oil with lavender
Loved this dear sister, especially the wisdom at the end. I've been growing my hair since 2020. It takes so much patience and self love. I feel like there is a spiritual element to our hair, especially when you look at scripture.
Do you trim your hair at all? Or just let it grow without any trimming?
@@katieb9312 I typically trim it 2x a year
Great info! Thank you!
Loving this reminders
This is fantastic! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing these great tips, Lea! I’m going to put some of them into practice. I’ve had collagen sitting in my cupboard but forgot about it so this was a good reminder to take it! 😊

Best video till now about skin and hair health.❤
Great informative video!! Good tips
So inspiring! I am on the path to natural living. Would you be willing to do a video on your diet, how it influences your health today, how it healed you, as well as how your faith influences your diet (i.e. kosher, etc)? BTW, loving the Tea with Lea podcast!!!
So glad you are enjoying it :) Request noted.
I would love a video on that too ♡
Same here!
Yes please
I have hair loss and sometimes feels so discouraging, I just want to give up, Thank you for the encouraging words.
I am so happy you put this video out! I'm also on the journey and have the same hair type as you. Normally I do no-poo method using chickpea flour, but in the winter my hair has been so dry and literally breaking off recently. I'm learning more about hard water and thinking this might be the problem, since we moved somewhat recently and have never had the problem before. I love the oil prewash routine you do, and I am going to be trying it. I feel like it really will make a good difference. Thank you so much!
Thank you thank you thank you! Loved this! I knew some of what you talked about already but you broke it down into a doable routine. Was looking forward to this. Even the Bible says a woman's hair is her glory.
I had to train my hair. When I was a teenager , I was naturally oily . I washed my hair everyday and now I can wash my hair once a week ❤
Love love this teaching.. so valuable for healthy hair...Thankyou for sharing.
Thank you sis for chiming in on all hair types. You really seem to care about people. Blessings.
Great video. Very informative. It's a bit overwhelming, but I will start easy. Thank you for sharing. 🙏🏽😊
Thank you Lea, I enjoyed this video. I use rose water on my skin everyday, didn’t know I could use it on my hair. I love my all natural shampoo bar but I’ve never done the oil soak first. Going to have to give it a whirl. Thank you again!
Beautiful videos always. Keep going. Thank you.
amazing lifestyle choice .. thanks a ton missy
Great tips! Thanks.
God bless you for growing your magnificent hair.
Thank you for all of this information! My Josh cuts my hair too and I love that. It was nice to learn what type I have and how to feed it lol! ♥️
Thank you so much for this. I could not have more different hair than you. I am older with some gray (blonde in my younger years), wavey to curls depending on the humidity. Fine, soft and often frizzy. lol So helpful for all of this info and I will check out some of the products for sure.
Thank you for this video!!! THIS is a video I had really been hoping you would do.
I currently wash my hair once a week. I have fine hair that is wavy and at times even curly. With autoimmune issues and thyroid issues, my hair has gotten thinner. I keep it long and use a non-toxic shampoo from the health food store. I use oils on my hair; jojoba or apricot seed oil or hemp seed oil. I add essential oils also sometimes.
So helpful! Just ordered a Calia bundle and some rosemary oil. Appreciate you! 🤍
So glad you enjoyed it :)
Thank you for your video, it was so encouraging! I watched it at least 3x!! Loved what you said about what's inside will come out, and about the way we eat affecting our health and looks and inflammation playing a part as well! 💙
Thank you Lee … I’m more In -love with slow living everytime I watch your videos. Stay blessed.
it makes me so happy to see you talking about diet in a hair care routine! so important and not spoken about near enough
Thank you so much for this holistic approach sister. I'm in the 4 range and found all these points applicable to my journey to natural, healthy and length retention. I'm going to type some notes.😅
Love your approach. Simple is best. You have beautiful hair.
I’m a hairdresser and have been for 30 years. You did a great job! ❤
Thank you 😊
Nice braids .....love it
Beautiful hair you have girl!
As an owner of a hair growth brand / mask, I thank you for these useful tips. So many people expect to have overnight results, but hair growth just doesn't work that way. Got to have the patience, feed your body the right, nutritious food, using right / gentle products... thank you :) Keep up the good work!
Excellent presentation sharing more information than I originally thought. Thank you for posting and spreading natural information. Keep doing what you can being beautiful inside and out.
So glad you enjoyed it
Started from this video, and this channel has became my favourite. Absolutely in love with the content and you, and the embracing diversity you are creating. ❤️
Thank you so much 💓 I'm so happy to have you
And thank you for sharing these 🦋🍀🌹
Thank you for educating us! Also I work in a middle school library so I add tea tree and all the oils you recommend in a spray bottle with water. Tea tree is supposed to repel lice! I thought I would share just in case someone didn’t know about it! You are beautiful inside and out! What you are doing for Christ is incredible! ❤ thank you for sharing the long awaited video!
Thank you for emphasizing the nutritional aspects of hair care. I couldn’t agree more that what’s happening inside is the most important thing. It’s great to hear people talking about that.
