Sell it while you still can lol. New 3ds xl is the best model. Multigba s is a android emulator I use for Gameboy games it supports online lobbies with live voice and text chat. They even have one for the nes and SNES I recommend checking those emulators out nice to have in case they ever get discontinued also you don't have to have the same ROM so you can play just like ds download play. Almost like cloud gaming testing before getting it I mean if someone is hosting the game for you to join no password that is.
The dsi is better for ds games (especially the dsi xl)

I remember playing a lot of MKDS online last year! The most amount of people I’d see are maybe 1-3 but it was still cool! I used my phone’s hotspot with an open security but unfortunately my new phone doesn’t allow connections without a password.
I think there’s more ppl playing the modded servers; ctgp nitro. I just got into ctgp 7 for Mario kart 7 and came across ctgp nitro while getting into ctgp 7. From the vids I’ve seen on nitro it looks pretty active; full lobbies just like ctgp 7. I haven’t had the chance to download it but I’m gonna pretty soon

@@PinchSoft i get not explaining any rules, but you didnt even mention this is for connecting to wiimmfi servers. People new to wiimmfi are confused, see the comments asking about error codes and dont know what they mean or where to look
I tried with Mario Kart DS but it wouldn’t connect to the mobile Wi-Fi hotspot and I made sure the hotspot was password less but no luck but The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing DS Version connected fine.
I tested professor layton and the diabolical box and it said it downloaded the puzzles but it actually doesn't

Hi, tried to download some Mystery Gifts on my Soulsilver copy. However the game gives me the 20110 error. I followed step by step the instructions and the console it's able to connect to the Wi-Fi connection but still says that the service is discontinued. How do i proceed? I use a 2DS

Um it doesn't work even on gen 5 pokemon so you're wrong. I put the DNS into my 3ds settings and still get the discontinued error
I’m on dsi and in the settings it said the connection was successful but when I go into Pokémon white 2 and do mystery gift it says the download failed error code 31020 do you know how to fix it

I don't think it would work with DS Virtual Console games and Wii backward compatibility on Wii U, but for Wii U native games, you would want to use Pretendo Network SSSL instead, which provides enough functionality for playing online but doesn't allow for access to some of its extra features.

For those who have 52100 error on NDS: Fixed with entering the data in the 3rd Wi-Fi slot, only entering in that concrete slot I managed to make it work

The "WEP key" is the password. You need to have a connection old enough to only use WEP as protection, or have no protection at all. For example, try using a hotspot without a password

Ye it’s bc DS only supports the WEP Wi-Fi security or no password and if you’re erroring out it’s probably bc the Wi-Fi connection ur using isn’t WEP or passwordless.
Make sure you're using WEP, no password, or DSi enhanced games for modern Wi-Fi
Hey my hotspot pops ups and lets me connect to my 3ds but right at the end it fails I get an Error code 52200 before changing Dns. After I cnage Dns I get Error Code 52100. Please help me

@@PinchSoft I am also getting this error even after erasing the WFC settings. I'm using original DS hardware and game cartridge, and phone wifi hotspot with no security, and I am also getting error 52100. Testing the connection in wifi settings or trying to go online in game displays green signal strength bars while the connection test hangs for about 10 seconds, before the bars turn red and display that the server can't be reached despite being connected to the wifi hotspot.
Does the game I'm playing matter? Does it matter if I used the same cartridge & DS combo to battle online years ago when Nintendo's servers were still up?

If you are playing a dsi/enhanced game, set it up in 3ds settings, if you are playing a ds game, set it up in nintendo wfc setup
I'm getting an error that says unable to connect to nintendo Wi-Fi connection because the Wi-Fi ID on the DS and game do not match. And when I go to update it, it says the nintendo WFC has ben haulted.
Try erasing the nintendo wfc config in options

My dad just cant find my internet. I go into connection settings, connect. (I can connect to my internet normally) put in the dns, it works, I then go into Mario kart ds, go into wfc, and it says "no internet connection found" and my connection just cant be found. Any fixes?
The ds/3ds does not support 5ghz networks. Set the modem to 2.4ghz or enable band steering

@@LuisTillero-hu1puI just use my mobile hotspot on my phone. It works just sucks it's always a hassle to get it done with my home network. My router says it does both bands but will never connect to 2.4 unless it's my Xbox series s because yeah that's what I need for the new game systems the slowest connection outta the two. Do not buy Xtreme internet they only have one Ethernet port and crappy service. Sadly that's all my area has to offer.

I got a problem: on 3ds wifi it works perfectly but than when I go to Nintendo Wifi for pk platinum, even if my wifi doesn't have password, It says that it couldn't find the IP adress, should I try find a Samung Hotspot??

@@EdoardoMarasa That's a DNS error so I recommend checking the DNS if it's correct, and if that doesn't work, erasing the WFC settings in the options menu
@@PinchSoft I checked the DNS on 3ds wifi setting and also the one on Nintendo wifi settings but when I try to connect to internet on pk platinum it gives me error 5200, I also tried erasing the WFC setting but it doesn't work.....

I’m having the same problem, apparently you can’t use a hotspot password free on an iPhone. I’m trying to connect pokemon platinum. I’m gonna try on a cousins hotspot on a Samsung. If it works I’ll let you know.

I tried this and it didn’t worked, I gotten one of the error codes just like the previous comments did on my main 3ds and gotten a different error code on my secondary 3ds which was 51099
Ensure that the connection test is successful, did you type the password correctly?

@@ndk0191 yeah i don't see why not but you'll need a network compatible with original ds and those aren't very common anymore so you'll need a wep compatible network or a network without a password
@@ndk0191 they should work fine but getting a compatible network for an original ds can be difficult as you need either an older router or a network with no password

That’s a DNS error so most likely the DNS is entered wrong or the WFC settings need to be erased first, try that it will probably fix it

Yeah I have a dedicated WEP router, but if you don’t have one you can setup an Open hotspot on most phones/computers

@@zsclan1651 52100 means DNS issue, so most likely the DNS was inputted correctly, however if it wasn’t I would recommend erasing the WFC settings in the options menu

It's the password to your router, however it needs to be WEP level security, if you don't have that available I recommend making a hotspot and make sure there is no password on it
It's an encryption method. The DS doesn't support WPA. It's dumb, because WPA existed even back then.

Check your DNS and make sure that's right, if everything looks good try resetting WFC settings

The (No hacks) his a lie Hijacking the online services is a hack, so even thought the Nintendo 3DS official server are shut down since you need to hijack the 3DS side first before Hijacking the Nintendo DS online side, so if you get caught by Nintendo you will either lose all of your purchase downloadable software on your 3DS no refund and no way to buy them back, or Nintendo will still let you keep it, but when the software gets corrupted on the 3DS you will be banned from using the repair on the E-shop because you hijack the 3DS online to Hijack the DS online. They can also banned your account if the account is link, so it will effect the used in other conosle if they decide to banned your account for doing this, and in that case if they decide they banned your account buying a new Nintendo switch, or a brand new 3DS will not solve the problem since your account is banned.

There is no home brew done on this, it is not a hack, and it also is not done through the (SHUTDOWN) 3DS online system, I don’t know where you got the idea that they can steal your downloads from you but that’s not true.

you do not need to hack the 3ds since it boots into DS mode and acts just like a DS. Also, you wont get banned for hacking a 3DS, nintendo does not care anymore
It's not a hijack, this is just connecting to a different service. The official one is long gone, we all know this.
