Both Ashwin and Chahal are not orthodox finger spinners. Finger spinners tend to get more spin from surface. Both these bowlers use more carrom balls, sliders and googlies and SRH batsmen are really good spin batsmen. Even top class Indian batsmen can’t play spin like Klaasen.

This is why I have a hard time rating a lot these modern batters highly. The moment there is something on the pitch for the bowlers, these batters often fall short miserably. Where are the skills and applications!

Should have dumped TKC for Shubham Dube. Poor batting performance and application by RR batsmen. No one tried a reverse sweep against the left arm spinners. Total brain fade. How do you let Abhishek Sharma have that type of a game in a qualifier.
