    Apparently there is a phase 3 clinical trial at Northwestern University hospital on using hyperbaric oxygen therapy for treating acute severe ulcerative colitis. I expect hyperbaric oxygen treatments to become more popular in the future. -It will be important to reduce to costs of this treatment though...

      @@healthfitla Just fyi, I experienced an ulcerative colitis flare earlier this year. I did 12 hyperbaric oxygen treatments at 2 atm. The treatments improved my symptoms, but they weren't powerful enough for me to escape my flare, and when I stopped the treatments, I continued to deteriorate. Thankfully, prednisone and mesalamine enemas got me out of my flare. -I think I made two mistakes with my hyperbaric oxygen treatments: Mistake #1: I didn't do enough treatments. Mistake #2: I should have used mesalamine enemas at the same time as the hyperbaric oxygen treatments. Treating a wound locally in addition to hyperbaric oxygen is best. -Thanks for helping people with hyperbaric oxygen treatments!

    • @healthfitla
      @healthfitla  Před měsícem

      Yes. HBOT is great for many types of cosmetic and orthopedic surgeries. We recommend a few sessions before the actual procedure to hyper-oxygenate your body in preparation... and soon after the surgery to further speed up the healing process.

    Does IT HELP WITH VASCULAR ISSUES AND STROKES

    • @healthfitla
      @healthfitla  Před rokem

      It depends on the severity of the condition, but HBOT may be able to assist with stroke and vascular healing. Check out our website for more information healthfitinc.com/hyperbaric-oxygen-therapy-chamber-treatment

      No. It helps with a single thing, and unless you're a diver that has surfaces too quickly, that thing isn't something that you'll need treatment for

    • @deadman4712
      @deadman4712 Před 9 měsíci +3

      Yes, HBOT “works” with vascular issues and strokes. It doesn’t make you feel 100% but I’ve seen stroke patients not be able to talk to being able to have some mobility, and slurred speech even after 2 years of having the stroke.
      HBOT is also seen to promote neovascularization.

      Hyperbaric oxygen therapy does help boost the natural healing capabilities of the body. It varies for each person, but we have seen great progress with people that are specifically using it to heal acute and chronics injuries.

      Anything that helps oxygenate your body will help your healing process so this will certainly without question help your shoulder heal if you commit to going a few times a week consistently

      @@healthfitla Something terrible happened to me, at the end of 2017 I was in a nightlife I had left my joint on the table and was gone for a while, after I came back I lit one up what happened next was indescribable some one changed my joint I felt something coming to my head and I felt a electric shock that caused my breathing to increase and my vision to blur and I had to walk compulsively, I lost all control. To this day we don't know what or who it was. It remained restless for weeks, months, years. I suddenly had severe anxiety, I couldn't sleep, I had to move, and I had breathing problems, namely a slowdown, I also suffer from tremors, vibrations and tingling. I also experience the world differently. These symptoms are different somewhere. to be linked to a substance? I am extremely tired and I notice that my electrical activity is not going well despite an EEG scan that looks normal.
      Do you perhaps have an idea what could cause this and what research can reveal more about the function of the brain, since an MRI only shows
      small non-specific white matter lesion right
      And an eeg shows allso nothing could HBOT help to restore the brain function like mitchondrieen, neurotransmission because i am really suffering
