About Steven Universe:

When different characters are singing they have background music that matches a part of them, when pearl sings it’s very elegant, when garnet sings it’s very electronic, amethyst is very industrial, Steven has that classic Steven Universe twinkle sound effect, and Greg has a electric guitar.

This show is definitely one of those "this show was my childhood" shows
I'm a 34 year old man and this song brings me to tears every time i hear it. Life can be rough sometimes.

I have forgot a majority of when I was younger after traumatic events that were not even related to the time period I had the ability to watch Cartoon Network, but I still remember sections of Steven Universe, it was so significant that nothing could fully remove it from my mind.

@@lmao9692because Rebecca Sugar is not a good writer. I’m sorry to say that as this show went on, it took a very steep nose dive. The Jasper Arc was just…*mwah* amazing. The reveal of Garnets reality (being a fusion) the general reality set that Steven has to come to terms with, then…everything just collapsed from there. I could go on and on about how this show consistently let the audience down, and eventually just became LGBT propaganda. Then don’t even get me started on future, because yes, whilst watching this show i kept asking “boy I wonder what would happen if Steven became an abuser” lol. Anyway, sorry tangent, point is, Sugar is not a good writer, and she def ruined the show.

Back in 2013 when Steven Universe was new and everyone was watching it, i never did because i did not like the universe of the cartoon and instead watched The amazing World of Gumball or Adventure Time on CN but idk why but this music makes me cry a lot because of nostalgia even tho i never wacthed Steven Universe, honestly i know that i missed something incredible, but i dont have time anymore to watch it...

just thinking about how the other crystal gems took this song that steven came up with and ran with it, adopting it as their song and adding their own mark to it. like, they didnt have to do that. they couldve just clapped politely and the. forgotten about it. but steven's song was meaningful to them, enough that they wanted to join in.
looking at the plot of the whole show, it's clear that lil steven doesnt have a full understanding of what the crystal gems do at the time of writing the song. but he knows enough to write a little song about them, about his family. he loves them, he's proud of being one of them. and they love him, and they're proud of him being one of them.
After all these years it still has the same energy ❤️🔥

I found SU this year and i’m 13 and a half so am i young part of this fandom atm because most are older than me but i know i’m Not The youngest considering Many people found su when they were literal children. Even so i feel like finding SU during my last child near teenage-age was The best thing that ever happened to me because i was so down with life and This show made me believe in life and myself. It gave me strength to keep going. Thank you SU i’m greateful i was born during The time it existed.
