- Neighborhood Group ride for the grand opening of the brand New Oz Trails Castle Hub. This hub was previously NOT a castle... then they brought in OVER 100 truck-loads of dirt to elevate the hub and create speeeed!

We're all pretty excited about this one... it's very close to our neighborhood and it's awesome. :-)
Officially a must-see if you're in the area. Great down hill trails and an easy gradual climb back up.

It’s truly special
I was there for grand opening too. At 3:30 mark in green plaid shirt. Wife right behind me. We moved here to BV 2 months ago. Really enjoying the MTB life. Always have enjoyed your videos. Thanks for sharing all your rides, especially POV raw eblast around slaughter pen.
Love it! Welcome to Bentonville!
Appreciate the comment and positive feedback! Let me know what trails you want to see next
I've been waiting for someone to put out a comprehensive video of this (since I couldn't be there!). Well done, but I can't believe you rode right by the bulldozed Apple Dumpling and didn't even mention it, or pour a little water out for our fallen friend!
Too soon… it just hurts too much.
Great content, as always. Thanks for keeping us informed on some of the newest and the best of the Oz Life.
Thanks! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted. Started a new job and needed to get into the swing of things.
Looks great. Man we need some rain.
So true! Yesterday's rain helped a bit!
Went to it today. I have an ebike because of how broken down I am and got lost a little because I don't know the trails that well and ended up on one that was a one way coming off of it while I was going to it.
That happens! Hope you had a great ride
How long does it take to ride from end of trail (bottom) back up to the castle hub?
2 minutes and 42 seconds on my non-ebike. :-)
Let’s go Chiefs
Let’s go Chiefs!
Hey bud what bike are you on here? Didn’t you ride a yeti ebike previously?
Let’s shred soon, living in
Bentonville now
-Marc Wade
Yes! Let’s ride
I’ve still got the e-bike but haven’t quite convinced all my friends to get one. Yet. :-) so I’m riding a SB150. This bike is awesome. Got it this summer
could you share a strava link to the full route?
You bet! I added it to the description as well: www.strava.com/activities/7932455036
whoa nd what happened concerning your fallen friend, if I may ask?
Quite unrelated to this post! Couldn’t believe he crashed on the same trail I posted about minutes before finding out about his fall! He’s OK now but lost the front tire coming in too fast on the first berm. He skipped the pre-ride… he won’t be skipping the pre-ride going forward. :-)
@@TheOzLife Ok, great to hear he is alright. I will say, when I was doing my first 'real' jump on a dirt pile I had created (back in 1958), when I got up into the air - and it was spectacular - my front wheel came totally off. I thought I was going to land on the fork of the bike, etc. but needless to say, that was the end of my jumping. Now, at 72, I can't even sit on those new seats y'all have... ha I was a bike fantastic in my younger years but it was in South Dakota - the closest 'hill' we had was many miles away - and I mean many! Oh, if I was young today and with all the mt bike trails ya have - I figure I would be dead by now... because I was also a daredevil on my bike riding through traffic, timing myself so I could fly between cars, etc. anyway... there ya go. Thanks for your response - be careful out there, but not 'too' careful... gotta ride like the ghost riders in the sky, man!
Man this is truly a Walmart version of mountain biking
I’ve heard the “Disney World” of mountain biking! Can’t argue with that
@@TheOzLife right - walmart isn't famous for quality and disney has gone perverted. But nice to see that ya'll still like the trails that are being built around these parts. I like to walk them (72) but I am starting to get more and more nervous... I haven't read anything about any walkers getting attacked or ran over by a biker but I also don't want to be the first.
