I need to repair a 3-way CFL. When I tap on it, it comes on. When flip switch through the different wattages, it works. When I shut it off and try to turn it back on, it will not come back on unless I tap it again.

Looked like he was handling and soldering the board while it was connected to 120VAC and live. Maybe while the board was in the socket it was unplugged. Just curious.

When I was repair s CFL bulb AC wire in the circuit board disconnected in the bosrd where to solder the wires in the board

there are 4 wires in 2 pairs, each pair should read about 10-20 ohms and infinite ohms if its broken, connect each pair to the solder joint pairs that are closest to each other, order shouldn't matter since its just a wire but don't switch a wire from one pair with another

cfl bulbs blowing in pink colors, i have check all the pf, diode, capacitor, and track is ok ....
then where is the fault ...how to find it out?

time after time the gas they have inside get old and the lamps don't work anymore.

@@IsDeno24 gas get old ? it isn't a cake, it doesn't go old and moldy ! either the filament burns out

if its pink, leave it for 5 minutes and check if its brightened, if not then the bulb is weak and not usable or the power supply isnt supplying enough power
