ONE if the reasons I've promoted this theory is because I have a Master's degree in Economics, and ALL of my professors said that the type of government utilized in Scandinavia is highly- effective, BUT would NOT work in Murica as Sweden (fir example) is much smaller in population and MUCH MORE homogeneous. Maybe my professors were full of 💩, but that's what I was taught. Also, wouldn't it be easier to manage a zoo, let's say, that's 500 square feet and has two or three types of animals versus a zoo that's a MILLION sq feet and has three dozen types of animals and 30 times as many?! While it may be an awkward metaphor, I still think it works as it illustrates that there's much more room for errors and problems.

I'm still so confounded by the fact that price tags in the US doesn't show the price already -including- the tax cost, I've later come to understand that it's got a lot to do with different taxes in different states as well as I guess the taxes fluctuating from state to state, and therefore it's difficult for a brand and/or store-chain to sell them at the same price everywhere in the US. I'm not sure if that's really all there is to it but I'd downright feel like I was getting robbed if I were to grab something that said "This costs $19.99" only to get to the checkout and find out it's actually something like $22.40

No it's not. The Federal government tax is already added into the price of everything. What's tricky is there is also state, county, city, alcohol, and sin tax.
Alcohol tax in TN is a whopping 15%, there is a sin tax of 7%, and sales tax is 7%. 30% of the price of Jack Daniel's is just tax. Florida alcohol tax is 1%, there is no sin tax, and sales tax is 6%. Only 7% of the price of Jack Daniel's is tax. All of the states in the US have different taxes. Companies would have to make multiple ads to show the price of a product in your area. Newspapers and magazines couldn't be sold across the US because the advertisements for products would be wrong. The tax system in the US is complex, and everyone wants their cut out of your money.

A business gets an entire semi full of products and 2-3 people have to put the stuff on the shelf or put it away in the stores back room. I don't nor does majority of Americans want to have extra employees. if a business has extra employees the product on the shelf is going to be a little more expensive. The entire country isn't going to change because tourists are to damn lazy to look up tax on the shelf. It really isn't that difficult. Produce, dairy, and meat isn't charged sales tax. Everything else is. You add all the products up then multiply by what ever the sales tax is. So for Miami if the bill is $100 you multiply that by 7%. This equal 7, so you need to add an extra $7. Not every shop has Swish as method of payment. Smaller shops typically do, but I've yet to see a larger store do (City Gross does allow payments with Klarna though, which means you pay a bill at a later time). Also, not everyone one has Swish (though anyone can technically get Swish, they just need to link a mobile number to their bank account. You don't need a smartphone to be able to receive Swish payments, but you need it to make them)

I agree with you in all, but did you realky say that we don't have homeless people in Sweden?

Something else thats worth noting about #3 Education that I think i missed a bit.
If you persue an education on a University level, the student loan can get high, well above $5000, but its still not even close to that of the USA, ive heard ppl having student dept upward of $80,000...?
Also, the professions that get you deep in dept, also have a rather high sallery right of the bat.
    (cba spell check atm)

Also larger bills are always bigger than the smaller ones because then you cannot wash the ink away from small bills and use then to print fake larger ones on official paper. That used to be a huge problem with US dollar counterfeiting at one point.

You don't have to pay everything back that you loan when you go to collage. You can either choose to get about 823 kronor (about 87 usd) per week that you don't have to pay back, that option is good if you still live at home and you don't need to pay for rent and food, or if you need more because you need to pay for rent and food etc you can choose to get about 2715 kronor (about 285 usd) per week. But you will need to pay that extra 1892 kronor (198 usd) back, but as Andrew said you have like 50 years to do so.
