6 years ago I bought 10 bars of wax, melted them all, and poured it all on to the board. Then I waited for it to cool, carved my name in it, and have never had to wax it since.

Top tip 1: Use the flat side of the wax in small circular motions to build up those bumps
Top tip 2: Add some wax on the rails where you place your hands on a duck dive to stop them slipping
Top Tip 3: Don’t use too much pressure, gradually build up the wax layers yo avoid smearing it around

Glad you like your little Marley! Wax removal wise it’s very similar, but you have to be a little more careful that you don’t tear up the foam top with your wax comb. Leave it in the sun to melt up a bit and that should make things heaps easier 🤙

I usually do one round of main cross hatches then crack on with a mix of everything, you can go too wrong to be honest once you have the base, just don’t press too hard else the wax will smear / be patient with it!

Hi Kamil! So for reapplying wax a small amount before each session or if it looks like a lot of wax has been removed. It’s also worth stripping all the wax off and doing a fresh coat a few times a year or if it gets full or sand or dirt.
In terms of how to know when to stop waxing - basically when it bumps up nicely and you’ve covered the area you need.
Wax wise in this tutorial I’ve used an eco wax made from soy and beeswax, popular waxes like Sex Wax a petro chemical based.
