Idk what Oakley is talking about. Barkley has a history of talking trash in interviews while he was a player, and also getting into some fights. It didn’t start when he became an analyst, he’s been known for saying what he feels.

I'm a Knicks fan so I have to usually support Oak...but he's been a punk regarding the Barkley stuff, period. Barkley has always been a trash talker, and a dude who's not afraid to get into a fight. Barkley punked Oakley back in the day, and he never got over it. Period.
When did Barkley EVER punk Oakley?? I’ve seen them get into a few altercations, one where Barkley baited Oakley and Oakley snatched him by his jersey. Another where Barkley mildly slapped him, and Oakley slapped him back and another when they got into a whole fistfight that was pretty much a wash. And of course, the alleged time were Oakley came up to Barkley during meetings for the 99 lockout, and slapped him, and Barkley walked away. Oakley all these years later definitely looks worse because he won’t let the past go and both of these dudes are over 60 now, but there are no receipts im aware of where Barkley ever parked Oakley 😂

I like Oakley, but he knows that Barkley, for all the controversial things he has said over the years, has never been afraid to speak his mind, or will he ever be intimidated by no person, whoever it may be. It sounds like old jealousy that needs to be buried. Even during their playing days, as I witnessed, Barkley never ran from Oakley or anyone else for that matter. Oakley at best was just an enforcer, but Barkley was an enforcer who actually had talent to be the leader of teams. Charles may not have a ring, but he did lead his team to a Finals appearance with being the MVP of the league, and there are a lot of players who never came close to achieving that.
When you allow anger and hatred to drive you, this is what happens. Post retirement, what life can you lead to serve as an example for the next generation? Most black men in their old age, do not understand this. It really saddens me

You know how I know Jordan is the greatest to ever do it? Long after his career was over his own peers and opponents still no matter how much they disliked him say he was the best in their era and still the best in their minds despite the Kobe or Lebron. Even the LeBron generation can't say with absolute conviction or argument that he is better than Jordan or even better than Kobe and that's just Kobe in that 3 name comparison. LeBron has pre loaded every team he was on, Jordan had who he had and still carried them on his back no matter what year outside of those Pistons series. Oakley and Barkley may not be in Jordans good graces, but Jordan was so dominant even his haters or fallen friendships do not argue against his greatness and they both would defend him and his greatness on their own platforms. Oakley and Barkley were jealous of each other because Jordan was friends with both of them. I guarantee you once Lebron's career is over, Jordan and Kobe will always be the grand consensus and his comparison. Two of the top 10 greatest players of all time did more with less with the same franchise than the other who needed help from more than one wingman on every team he played for.

No generational player after him will have a killer instinct stronger or greater than his or Kobe, you got kids time managing and nursing minor injuries for 3-4 games out. We are now in the soft as baby shit generation, Anthony Edwards and LeBron are the only two playing currently who feel for real that they want to dominate or finish their opponents, but it's still and never will be on that same level as these younger players because these younger generations coming up will continue to be softer and feminized past the point that they already are currently.
Therefore, the 6 championships, the ten scoring titles, the 5 time MVPs, the largest global brand outside of Michael Jackson, Elvis or the Beatles still dominating the show and athletic apparel market, you show me some one close that will surpass if not make more over time and that guy will be the one I crown winner but until then Michael Jordan is the Goat. Then there's Kobe and then there is LeBron. But all of their stats will stay intact past our lifetime because these women these days are not pumping out fully intact dudes anymore.

LeBron is great and will AlWAYS be great, but he didn't have to overcome any team outside of the great GSW team led by a prime Steph Curry that really gave any of his squads any real grief unlike the NUMEROUS teams tried to give or stop Jordan and Kobe. Ill defend all three of these guys, but there are those who changed the game and those who accentuated it.
