Setup VMware Bridged Networking VMnet0 in Workstation Pro 15 for EVE-NG Simulator. In this video I have setup the bridged network in VMware for EVE-NG Simulator. Also will test the connectivity from IOL router, running in EVE-NG simulator.

Does Vmnet1 use to connect to a mobile network/ hotspot in the absence of wifi nw ?

Yes, VMnet1 can join Mobile hotspot. But check if your hotspot has same subnet as you r using for broadband. If not, change the ip subnet on switch as per hotspot

Yes, it can. But if ur wifi network has the same IP sunet and same gateway then u don't need to make changes on ur l2 device. But if these two different networks then you need to make changes on your l2 switch

That is also possible, but does your laptop have the capability to join two wifi networks. Anyway if you are using ESXi Hypervisor, then it's possible. Laptop doesn't provide flexibility for that
