One of my favourite combos is definitely Gatlings + High Altitude Missiles, it doesn't offer much mobility but if you want to fight mid to long ranged, especially against swarms of flying enemies, it's absolutely insane - the Gatling helps fill the gap between firing your missiles off and it's just so sooo good
Fencer main with 350+ hours in my opinion Blood storm and arm hound are one of the best combos to have the blood storm absolutely destroys the enemies with full armour and the arm hound is absolutely fantastic for air defence and taking out multiple enemies at one as the arm hound basically reloads in a second sending another barrage of missiles at the enemy
Fencer main here with 150 hours so far in the English version. My go to setup is Jackhammer + Dexter and 2 Maximum Disruptors. Disruptors are great for teleportation ships and anchors, as well as melting armor off heavy cosmonauts.
Have you considered streaming edf? Maybe playing with subs or something? Whether it be helping people or trying certain challenges or something. I think that would work well
I did try the double cannon combo with the stabilizer,but the disadvantage is that you must use the stabilizer to use them to full power and removing boost/dash items it’s basically suicide,so you are very vulnerable from the side and behind. But ye,beside that it’s one of the combo that rivals with the wing diver dps. Also I don’t know if you cover that already but you should talk about how the reduced weapon sway items basically changes how heavy weapons are handled! My fav combo is basically always boost/dash and full exoskeleton! Thanks for all the info and for the videos😊

Wow those are some immense tips. Reflect cancel to attack, and especially dash jumps! I've beaten the game offline on Hard already and never even tried mixing a dash weapon and a jump weapon, geez. Jackhammers are great weapons for one-on-one against big monsters but they waste a ton of hits punching corpses if you're fighting a lot of little bugs... gotta use Flashing Spear to get jabs through. Flashing Spear's ready time in 4.1 really sucked but when it levels up all the way here it's fast enough to dash and poke effectively.
i like 30mm cannon+flash spear in 4.1. sniping with 30mm and clearing lines while flash spear works in similar way trading range for speed. you also can dash>30mm>dash>spear>repeat(30mm gets of cd after 2 dashes)shoot hector>clear swarm with spear, constant dashes keeps you relatively safe.
Great video. Only started using Fencer on v5 and just wow have I been missing out. The jackhammer/shotgun combo is amazing. I pair that with the alternate weapons being two YH 7 shot mortars for some PS4 slowing-bug slinging-sudden death. Goodness help me if I forget which weapon set I’m on though. :D
Fencer was greatly improved in 5. 4 & 4.1, the thrust/boost (dash/jump) maneuver wasn't a thing. In fact it felt painful playing the fencer in 4 & 4.1 because the best you could do was boost, interrupt, boost, interrupt, boost and that'd have the same boost disadvantage as just plain multi boosting. You can only go so far and your actions become limited. 5's fencers are so much better.
the level 103 quaken axes (i think they are called hammers tho) they fan out damage and running 2 of them destroys all ground units, one of my favorite combos for fencer
The best new weapon combo you showed me today is the Arm Hound High Altitude Launcher combo. I always felt like the missile weapons of the Fencer are lackluster, but with this setup you'll be highly mobile while raining death and destruction onto your enemies, great find! For the hammers I need to ask something though. I have the impression that they somehow nerfed them? At the very least I feel a lot less tanky swinging a set of hammers in the face of a big group of enemies than it was the case in 4.1 Did the reduce the "shielded" window during the attack animation or something the like?
Not that I can tell, the damage reduction is still the same as well. My only guess is that the enemies hit harder than in 4.1 and therefore we need more health to do the same thing. They feel the same to me though
GX + FGX is fun! You can spam missile at everything at the cost of your friends complaining about enemies keep exploding on their faces. 10/10 recommended. Have to hold my laughter.
Speaking of the important stuff, I DID try water in me cereal after I hear about it somewhere, and since I'm lactose intolerant, it seemed like an ideal solution right? Enjoy delicious cereal while not getting gas and diarrhea! Well no, the lack of milk taste sort of isn't fun, and although I suppose I could get used to it eventually the lack of fat and/or protein in water makes the cereal just become soggy much faster than with milk, making them hard on the inside, but like wet bread on the outside, which is pretty disgusting. I like Silk, I tried the dark chocolate soy milk, which I find a unique taste from regular chocolate milk and really enjoy it. Unfortunately, I'm ALSO allergic to soy I think, which means that when I drink it my throat swells up and becomes super ichy and I cough and get a ton of mucus, which just isn't worth it. FML, oh well, at least I won't have to deal with it once we all die from the pandemic.
This ties into edf 5 stuff in the end, I need help :0 My game always crashed when I played the game rocket league and I would restart my ps4. It would always restart in safe mode, saying “checking system storage status.” It kept happening, and It eventually wouldn’t let me back into my PlayStation through the safe mode screen. I tried rebuilding database, simply restarting, and also installing latest update file (6.20) which I already had prior to my issues. I had to initialize my ps4, so all saved and stuff after my latest backup had to be wiped. After this process was complete, I uninstalled rocket league and reinstalled it. Then I put in my backup data. Everything was running fine for a bit, until I was almost done with my first game when it crashed again. Not only is it still happening, but when I start edf 5 (Japanese edition) I can not access dlc 1 or 2 missions/weapons. I am also unable to login to my Japanese ps account I used to buy dlc. Idk if you can help at all but thanks for reading and any tips would be appreciated!
Hmm I wish I had some kind of idea to suggest for you but I'm not familiar at all with that problem 🙁 have you tried signing into your Japan account on the PlayStation website?
I use the default and I used to use my middle fingers for the triggers but now I use the fps dominator add on for my controller and it feels more natural to have my index finger on leave r2 and middle fingers on the paddles underneath set to l1 and r1
You know I think they should have given Fencer a special weapons category in this game, I mean all the other classes have a special weapons so why can't Fencer have some?
@@KevinEDF frosted flakes works for me. I think the difference is you dont let the water sit. Drain it out or drink it after the cereal gets soggy. If the water just sat there like milk yeah its gross.

I just picked up edf 5 on steam and my friend used fencer and only used double blood storm the whole way through the game.
Ive never thought to put water in cereal, my life is now darker from this knowledge.

I like the flashing spear in EDF 5 because of the ability to be mobile with it with the new dash jump combo, I just wish the range was a bit more

You could also use the jackhammer with gatlings and flame revolvers. It's good for preemptive strikes while revving up.
