I can almost smell the 2 stroke emanating from my iPad. Ah, the memories. My first motorbike was a Suzuki Titan which, at 19 years of age, I bought second hand here in Western Australia in 1973. It had a ‘gorgeous’ orange tank and was in pristine condition. I felt so kewl riding along with my flared trousers flapping on either side of the engine. A policeman who picked me up for speeding was so impressed that he offered to buy it from me - an offer I declined - and I was sent on my way with a half hearted warning ... and an envious 😊.

Way back in 1981 my first 250 was a 71 hustler, it even had the Thruxton handlebars. It was a real heap of a bike, only one foot rest and the front brake didn't work but it went like hell, a lot faster than anything my mates had ( rd250s, suzuki x7s, honda super dreams etc) I loved that old thing and I really wish I still had it.

I had two Hustlers here in the UK... both had a much smaller tail-light and the dreaded steel exhausts threaded onto ally blocks which I soon stripped when tightening! Apart from that they were great machines, fast and easy to maintain.

The first bike I bought in the USAF was a 1965 T10 250cc Suzuki on that one had to mix the oil in the gas. Did ride the Hustler but did not have enough money to buy one at the time. Really nice, strong engine and smooth.

Danke.
Synthetisches Öl in Posi-Force? Viel gluck.

Specific parts for the T250 are rare in Germany. That's due to the fact that the 250 models have been launched in Germany not until 1972. Only a few T250 bikes came in, superseded then in 1973 by the GT250. Best contact for spare parts is CMSLN in the Netherlands. In Germany 2-Takt-hoffi www.hoffis-2takt-shop.de/. Good luck!

Maximum torque is at 7000rpm, maimum power output at 8000rpm. That'a a 2 stroke. 2 strokes are different.
