Its splendid with throating sound..plus the speed! Kudos
Hi, Thanks for the comment, Bike sounds even better in person. It's been really hard to get a good recording of it. I now have a much better sound recorder now. Look out for new videos.
"The Nightrider, remember him when you look at the night sky."
Nice!
Yah, that sounds nice. Music to fall asleep too.
Cheers i love it, a bit loud thou.
James here from Michigan. I love the thing. Big bore vertical twin, brand new. Brilliant. I'm 60yrs +; riding since I was a kid, all that jazz. I'm sold on the Royal Enfield 650INT. And opening up the cylinders for larger displacement power is just right. I took one of these bikes on a test ride last year and liked it a lot. Please list your piston supplier? Thanks so much for sharing. J.
Hello James, Here is a website where i brought all my kit, Will the owner is most helpful.

Thank you, much obliged. Keep up the good work. If you're ever in "the states" I invite you to a nice motorcycle ride up to the Sault Ste Marie Locks. Go over the Machinac Bridge to the Upper Peninsula of our state. Very nice ride. Thanks again, J.
The big bore kit on the new Shotgun is going to be lit.
I haven't looked in to much in the new Shotgun as they are still not available yet here in NZ. If i was looking at getting a new bike it would mostly be a duel sport. I will be upgrading my Interceptor to a 950cc in the near future. For the money sent on the big bore kits for the twins 650's you can get much better bike in other brands, but there something really addictive about the big bore twins.
@@ivananda865ccinterceptor If you paid all the money at once that's definitely true. But paying a bit to upgrade over time is easier on the bank account.
Sounds sweet.
Thanks, I'm still working on the sound quality, mainly trying to get rid of the distortion.
Nice gages and asphalt
Maybe watch this video, Same ride but shot with a Insta360

HI, that´s a sick machine man. Congrats! Have you upgraded any other components? I see the brakes are different, What about suspension, wheel bearings, transmition components etc? Do you believe the bike overall handles the new power output allright?
Thanks, Check out this video in some things about my bike

Wheel bearing and transmission are stock.
Great ride!
Cheers, I enjoyed it.😁
So many manufacturers putting brake fluid reservoirs on the handlebars that look like urine sample cups. Ugly trend.
I upgraded the master cylinder to improve the brake feeling of the bike, The look doesn't bother me as my bike is far from a standard 650 now. How a video on why i did the upgrade.

@@ivananda865ccinterceptor ```Thanks for the link!
Cheap trend so you have to buy an alloy replacement to stop it looking like a pot of piss on your handle bar
@@Tildog59 yep, that's it, cheap. I laugh when they don't put chrome on bikes no more and try to sell the cheap black rims and engines as a feature.
I do that sometimes with my 650 Continental. Putt putt off the line…..then give it the beans! 😊
I take off easy to save the clutch and to avoid lifting the front wheel off the road. I can take off quickly from a stand still, but it's not worth the extra wear on components, I've already replaced a warped clutch plate.
@@ivananda865ccinterceptor Do you still use the stock clutch or have you changed it out with the big bore kit?
@justinbrown9910 No I have an upgraded clutch as the standard clutch would not hold the extra torque the 865's make.
Niiice! What is the 3rd dial on the dash? And can you give a link to where a guy could obtain that lovely gear indicator?
Hello 3rd dial is oil temp czcams.com/users/shortsHPVkqbfNV_s?si=517HeNMK8bzeHntP

cmc big valve cylinder head as well? you thinking about adding the stroker to it?
Yes, it does have the big valve, big port head. I will do the 950cc stroker in the near future.
@@ivananda865ccinterceptor sick one man
is this a good first bike for someone who's never ridden before and is 30+ years old
Yes, it's definitely a great platform to learn on as I have done. I do think it's a little heavy. I would recommend getting a lighter bike if you haven't ridden a bike before.
@@ivananda865ccinterceptor thanks! I just love the look of these bikes it makes me want to have one
@gitgud6130 I'm 45 and bought this bike about two years ago. I never ridden a bike before. My Interceptor has been a fantastic bike to learn on. I'm about 88kg's and I have no problem with the bikes weight. Go to a bike shop jump on a bike and see how you feel about it. Remember a bike is super easy to move on the flat, In the real world, that's another thing. Learning to ride is the best thing you'll ever do. They are so good for the mind.
Compared to most older similar size bikes, this this bike is positively light by comparison. Yeah maybe a bit heavy compared to a sports bike like an R6 but compared to other bikes of the same size the centre of gravity feels really low. To put it into context, I ride my Continental in London every day in heavy traffic, the wheelbase is so short it easily keeps up with scooters in and out of traffic. 👍
Hi, could you tell me where you got your gear position indicator from. Cheers!
Where i brought mine, Check the the model code before buying one as if you get the wrong one it won't fit/work on your bike.Ask the sales team like i did. I found them very helpful.

@@Alex-io6ky Hello, Its an oil temperature gauge
czcams.com/users/shortsHPVkqbfNV_s?si=IPHRadaPyPvwcHwf
i thought the interceptor is only 650cc did you modify the engine to increase it?
Hi, you can buy big bore kits from Hitchcocks or Revelry Racing to increase CC ratings, They also do high flow heads, hot cams, etc.
yes there is a engine mod which is called big bore kit for the interceptor or continental bikes, you can know more about it on google..!! it is basically a conversion kit from 650cc into 865cc.
Lovely sound. I have a GT with a similar 3 clock set up but with the tripper instead of Oil Temp. If you don’t mind, which specific HealTech Gear indicator did you use? Can’t figure out which one would work best. Thanks and happy riding.
I bought mine from here, Ask the seller's which one you'll need. They where very helpful for me

hey can you tell me how safe the big bore kit is and does it effect the engine in any way for a long term use.??
Personally, I haven't had any issues with my motor, I'm not aware of any known issues apart from seeping oil near the heads, which mine does. I think you should really enjoy these bikes before considering the big bore kits, as there are better bikes to be had for the money. As for long term use I've had my big bore kit installed for nearly two years and it's still going fantastic.
@@ivananda865ccinterceptor ohhh alright, thank you for the reply, and also does it effect the overall mileage of the bike compared to stock condition.?
É plug and play. Dê uma olhada neste site

Hello thanks for the comment. The middle instrument is an oil temperature gauge and the gear indicator is super easy to install, It's plug and play. Have a look on this web site
www.healtech-electronics.com/wheretobuy/
Does it go over 200kmh after the upgrade?
I haven't been over 140kpm on my bike as the roads aren't suitable for high speeds where I live, It's not really engine power that determines top speed (it does help) It's more gearing that determines that. I am looking it making a video showing the top speed of this bike, but it may take some time to make.
@@ivananda865ccinterceptor Nope buddy. The top speed of a vehicle primarily depends on BHP and Aerodynamic drag only. At one point BHP generated by the vehicle is not sufficient to counter the opposing power of wind drag and that is the top speed.
According to your dyno BHP figures (64 bhp), I guess the top speed should be between 195-200 kmph in neutral wind conditions.
@@AyushSingh-zw2nw However, if you redline in top gear while you still have plenty of power then that will prevent you from going much faster unless you change gearing.
@@jlrutube1312 that's true. If the top gear ratio is less than 1, then it won't reach its top speed.
any major vibrations in any particular rpm after 865cc upgrade?
No nothing I've noticed on my bike. It;s much like 650's but with loads more torque though out the whole rev range.
Bro what name should i search on that website i couldn't find please tell what's proper name 😔
Hello, I'm unsure on what are you talking about?
Nice bike no doubt, the million dollar question though is - is it worth throwing all that money on a R.E. as opposed to getting a more powerful bike in the first place? :)
Thanks, That really depends on your needs, For most people mostly likely no as there are much better bikes for the money. If you love the Interceptor's soulful vibe and want it to have more power? Yes it's worth it. Here's my view about my bike.
