I don’t necessarily think he’s doing this, but could Sanji just be biding his time, waiting for his moment to strike? Remember, if he screws up even a little, then not only is he dead, but Vegapunk, Bonney, Atlas, and Franky too. Sanji’s the smartest fighter among the Monster Trio, he’s not going to attack a beast like Saturn if he’s not sure he can land a hit.
That dude’s head exploding isn’t haki normally the weak just pass out so whatever that ability is .. that is what got sanji and that also proves he ain’t weak or else his head would have been gone
It's True, Saturn must have selected Sanji to stop moving because he's saving bonny. Normal people even many marines can't even see him. Haki doesn't do this trick. So it might be his DF or magic.
It's not that the marines can't literally see him. It's that they're forbidden to have a look at the Gorosei.
It makes perfect sense for haki to be the factor because like it or not, Sanjis haki isn’t as strong as people think it is. I mean it’s strong but it doesn’t compare to others haki we’ve seen…nor is he experienced in fighting people with better haki than him.
Well if you think abaut it sanji dosend hawe conqueror's haki and we newer hawe seen eny caragter that has conqueror's haki getting knocked out by conqueror's haki and we still dont know the full power of haki and remember Roger conquret the sea by yousing ounly haki

Don't underestimate sanji , they are just in panic mode because they are facing enemies back to back, they are not aware of saturn's power ( even kaido was shocked till the end how luffy's df powers were working). I think luffy needs 10 min max, he'll back to fight or that ancient robot / Kuma is coming to sacrifice himself for the last time. As I also think oda won't make this fight too serious but just a glimpse of how powerful WG is

People heard Law say you can nullify devil fruit powers with haki and they ran too far with it.
Law could still teleport Doffy when he was weaker than him. The common rule the story seems to follow is that you need much stronger haki than the person you are fighting to cancel out their powers. Saturn potentially has haki on the level of the yonko and won't be cancelled out by haki on the level of Sanji's which isn't even advanced.
On top of this not all devil fruits can be nullified like how Kid's awakened abilities were affecting Big Mum who has advanced armament and advance conquerors haki.

First of all when did Oda ever give sanji “great” haki. he has armament and basic observation. He does not have conquerors or advanced conquerors. His haki is basic.
I think its dark magic ability, but I think conqueror haki can counter it. my prediction is, if luffy still not available to save bonney. I think this is the time to activate sanji's conqueror to break saturn's magic spell or something strange ability.
