    For fire safety, it seems like drywall is a better material for an enclosure. With my enclosure (in progress), I was reusing an MDF carcass that I had, so I'm planning on lining it it with drywall.

    Really nice video! very smart design, and well built stuff! subbed
    Also! a sprint loaded oneway valve is easily printable, and you could use a coal filter or something along those lines to make sure any small amount of fumes dont get out
    reay exciting stuff man looking forward to part 2!

    Hello😀
    I also arrived here after building my own enclosure. This is so sturdy!
    Mine is quite cheap and light😅
    I will put a video on CZcams tomorrow with the exhaust duct installed!!
    If you would like to take a look at it, please do.

    Can you post links to the heating elements?
    Also what's the gear to the left of the enclosure, with the blue led display?

      Incubator Heater: www.amazon.com/IncuKit-Mini-Tabletop-Egg-Incubator/dp/B078SH8DT2
      The box at the left is the printer control box. I have a Creality Cr-10 and the control box is is kept outside of the enclosure so that it doesn't overheat

    You made the 3D model of the enclosure or downloaded it, where can I get it? What program did you use?

    What temperature did that egg incubator get the enclosure to? Did it make it to 50C? If so, how long to heat up?

    • @eastonmorehouse
      @eastonmorehouse  Před 2 lety

      It got it to 51.0 C. I had the bed heated to 100C and it took about 30 minutes to get there. I usually print bigger things with a brim on them, so by the time the first layer is done it's at 50C.

    that our air tube doesnt get lower the temperature? what if all is closed, the toxic fumes stay inside isnt it? idk the need

    • @eastonmorehouse
      @eastonmorehouse  Před rokem +2

      The air tube is for getting rid of the fumes that are in the box once the print is done. I don't turn the fan on while its printing or it would get rid of the hot air, but the box is air tight so none of the fumes get out.
