  • Working Saturdays is not usually on my radar. But we have weather coming in next week, and an excavator that needs to get back to the shop. No choice today but to get the work done and get ready for next week. We are running both the Pork Chop (1992 Chevy Kodiak) and Orville (2019 Ford F750) to haul dirt, we need to get the Kubota SVL65-2 skid steer off the trailer, and we need the Kubota KX040-4 excavator and tilt bucket to do some grading.
Ride along with us as we burn down today's to do list!

They used to say, slow is smooth... smooth is fast. I'm still using a landscape timber or an I-beam for this type of grading with my mini-excavator so I'm a little jealous, lol. Keep up the good work!

most definitely. I keep resisting the urge to order a grading beam, there are some really interestng designs out there

Well done, Andy. Grading looks great. Did you use idig for this kind of work or sculpt it by eye?

there was one section I used the idig to work from a reference point, but mostly it was by eye on this one. Thanks for watching!
