1. You are the best most funniest person ever
2. You make me feel like I can get somewhere in my riding (I started in January at 12.5 years old. However I had a break from March to June because of corona. I can do small jumps in trot and canter but nothing more yet. Knowing that you started at about my age make me feel like I can be a good rider.)
3. You never fail to put a smile on my face

5. You help me so much in my confidence and my riding

Omg hi Justine! You have litterallly helped me through so much! Your confidence crisis speech really helped bc of something that happend, I was “breaking” in this horse, and it got to the stage that I thought it would be good to go bareback! So I did but he bucked reared and threw me off onto a rocky area, and I was terrified for weeks to get back on, but then I found you video that you posted and it helped me through so much and gave me complete confidence! Oh and I have a question, So I fell off of a pony in February (and really hurt my back) and have been trying to get over my fear of jumping, how should I get over my fear?
Um I got advise I starting jumping with a broken arm and a hurt back and I just sucked it up and did it
I had a similar experience once, try slowly working up to it, riding a horse that you trust too, and believe in yourself, maybe start with trot poles, then raised trot polls, then slowly build up to jumping!! I hope you get better!! That Sounds painful!!😊
I had that happen to. You just need to trust your horse, keep your leg on , steer and go with the horse
I had something similar happen to me. And so one time I watched my sister have a jumping lesson and I didn't think it was that bad so I tried it and I have a few tips that I hope help:
First of all if you ride a horse/pony that you trust you will feel much more relaxed this way.
Also if you start with poles on the ground and gradually build up confidence
And finally if you are nervous like I was then you really need to focus on your position in the saddle. Horses can sense change in the riders position so you need to make sure you don't grip with your leg look down or tense up
Also if it makes you more comfortable then you can use a neckstrap at first just make sure to not pull on it and don't hesitate or you horse/pony will sense your hesitation and could refuse.
I hope this helps and you are jumping again like nothing ever happened😁
I'd say take it slowly, stop if it hurts, but never stop believing and trying :)
I'm a very confident rider, so if I got into a bad accident I think that's what my trainer would do, but I'm no genius, so you don't have to take my advice.
