Can you do an updated video with 2023 prices?
My fiberglass was $43,000. By the time everything was done, extra concrete, wall, heater, salt, slide, diving board it went up to $78,000. San juan 14x32 in WV.
That is a lot of extras! I bet it is an amazing pool!

I just installed an above ground pool. $5k for the pool, $1800 for same day installation, and $9k for a Trex composite deck around the pool. It’s 18’x32’. Hope this helps someone. I’m in sunnny south Florida.

Thank you. I am not in TX, but at least you were willing to give me a price point. Most pool contractors in SC are very tight lipped about the price.

We are very transparent with our pricing. We have been installing fiberglass pools for over 41 years... We pretty much have it down to a science!
My fiberglass pool was going to be 60k but from start to finish I ended up paying 92k little things started up RIDICULOUSLY
We are looking at getting a large fiberglass pool. We are getting quotes of $75k to $90k!! (West Central Florida)

What about the price to purchase everything necessary to install the pool ie: pool pump plumbing electrical filters etc
2023 new prices 60k small 70 to 80 for medium and 90 to 100k no landscape included interest rates 6.99 on up depending on credit

How much space do you need around the pool? Like how for away from a fence or concrete floor?
Two years later but the build depends on your city code or HOA build limit lines. As for concrete, we butted ours up right against our porch just added an additional drain.

We install top brand fiberglass shells & have over 41 years of experience... These are pools that are very low maintenance that have a low overall cost over ownership & can be enjoyed for decades... The price is definitely relative to the value :)

I want to know why the Australian "Plungie" pools are NOT available in the USA??? Small pools that are easy in-ground installs and cost effective. Small pools that are 5' deep and have a small footprint ie. 10x10 but here in this country bigger and spend $$$. I am so tired of looking for economically cost effective consumer products in the USA. Europe/Asia have heated/cooled windows, had on-demand hot water tanks and low flush toilets many years before USA?
Every fiberglass pool installer in my area (Indiana) was completely booked up for 2021 back in 2020. We ordered ours during the beginning of the pandemic and got it installed in November of 2020. When demand is high and supply is fixed, prices are through the roof. Our 14x30 was North of $70K and that didn't include landscaping...

Thailand price for a small fiberglass pool........POOLS DELIVERED AND INSTALLED READY TO SWIM FROM 199,000 b = $7,000. I'm building an indoor lap pool 12' x 34' x 52" concrete block pool on our farm in Thailand. Excavation, 500 blocks, 100pcs 1/2" rebar @ 10 meters, 17 yards of concrete, plaster, pipes, 25 bags of mortar, grout, 2 lights, 1 skimmer, Epoxy paint, waterline tile, and a 1 hp Hayward sand filter. = $3,700. Ceramic tile floors and walls add $500. Glass tiles floor and walls add $1,600. Total will be $5,300 with glass tiles. 13,000 gallons. The price is $11,000 if I have a contractor do it. This pool will never warp. And if you need to drain it, it won't pop up out of the ground like a fiberglass pool. In America it's about $60,000 if you're lucky.

then why does eery pool installer in my area ask for 60k for a 12x24 fiberglass? I keep seeing these comments of 20-30k, but none of thelocal installers in almost my entire state (WI) will touch those prices.
Pool prices will vary in different locations... We install in Central & South Texas.
A lot will depend on the build as well, like where you build it. On the North side of San Antonio there is A LOT of rock in the ground, especially up in the Stone Oak and Hill Country area. As you go more South of San Antonio, the ground is much more sand than it is rock. The same exact pool put in up North will cost you a bit more than one put in the South, because of excavation. Cutting through rock is no joke. So excavation can be a huge difference in cost.
I live in WV. I couldn't believe the price of installing a fiberglass pool. By the time it was all said and done our pool was $78,000. The basic pool itself was $43,000. We went through San Juan. The extras you don't even think about like heater, retaining wall, salt, extra concrete, diving board, slide, lights, it all adds up!! Ours is a 14x32.
It’s best to have a separate contractor do the finishing work. These pool guys are fooling a lot of folks.

Why? Inground pools have a price tag, like anything else that is a "want", not a "need". Maybe it's just not in your price range. Instead of thinking "that costs too much", just understand it for what it is - "I just can't afford that". How about this, picture yourself dragging out the hose, attaching it to a rotating sprayer in the yard and jumping through it on a hot day to cool off - well now you have a Chevrolet. But an inground pool is more like a Porsche. I just hope these prices don't go sky high like everything else has...
