Winchester Bay May 13th 2012 Can-Am DS450 - GSXR1000

Shawn Twiss gets a chance to ride a GSXR1000 at Winchester Bay. He fires up the GoPro Helmet camera to make sure that he captures the moment. He first tries the Widowmaker (located about 50 yards to the left of Banshee Hill) on his Can-Am DS450. Two guys named Chris and Nick offer him a chance to try the same trail on their GSXR1000. It will take surgery to remove the smile from Shawn's face.

LOL...Agreed. Most of us struggle the widowmaker. Hell, it's a mean trail. But that GSXR1000 simply breezed up it like it was a Sunday afternoon cruise. The ATV belonged to a guy named Chris. His friend Nick rides the same style ATV with a GSXR750 for a motor. He tore up the Widowmaker as well.

Wow it has changed!. There are some hard looking trails on the side of Banshee hill. I guess it is time for me to go back :)

No offense taken. I agree that is a bit easier. However, I wouldn't call it a piece of cake. Maybe for you, you're probably a stellar rider with a ripping ATV. But for those of us who still struggle with the left side of banshee hill, the widowmaker is like attempting Mt. Everest. LOL

i was wondering, why is no one making atvs that you can buy with liter superbike crate engines? they sure look very potent. i remember some time ago in germany there were some dudes makint this e-atv but it had ktm 2 cylinder engine and it was only for street.

Ok no offense cuz the gixxer is badass but that trail is so cake now. They took out all the winds and turns and its pretty much straight up the old wya had tons of steep turns
