- In the spring of 1975 Queen set foot in Japan for the first time. The band played their first of many at Budokan after the release of 1974's Sheer Heart Attack. Footage and behind the scenes from Japan and the formal ceremony on the grass in front of Tokyo Tower.

This reminds me of a story Freddie told for some reason. It’s just about how when Bohemian Rhapsody hit number 1 they were in a lift and they began jumping up and down in excitement and the lift stopped and Freddie said “Here’s the number group in the country and they’re gonna suffocate in this damn lift.”
That's when they arrived at the Hotel and news broke that they had reached no. 1, that was in England though…

Although it was almost unknown in the world, it was very popular in Japan. For the first time in I was at Budokan. When Freddie appeared in front of me, my heart was almost stopped. It was said that he was not good at playing live, but that was quite different. It was powerful and perfect. John Deacon's bass, which was not noticeable on the record, was very bassy and comfortable at live.
I want John to be resurrected. Your presence is very necessary for Queen now.
