      What about Arab Spring?was all that not Protest?

    • @BolaAyadi
      @BolaAyadi Před měsícem +16

      The question of whether Islamically it is Haram(forbidden) or not is a political power influence. Even as they receive this orientation this time around that it's not Haram, if the political influence comes to play, the same persons telling them it's not Haram now will still go back to then & tell them it is Haram again & they will accept. This is simply because our fellows from the North have been captured completely by illiteracy. The high volume of Illiteracy in the North is not by accident, it is a coordinated & organised political crime by the leaders/the elites. They do this to gain rulership, dominance, & total control over the populace. They consciously & deliberately cage them in darkness, telling them their faith is most important & the need for education is limited while the need for Islamic education is compulsory thereby turn them all to almajeri/beggars.
      In our Military today, these same guys are the problem. They believe & follow everything said by the leaders whether it is true or not. That's how Fela came about the slogan: "zombie".
      Many many things are going on in our Country my brother, but all we need is just for our vote to count so we unseat them & elect leader of our own choice - a leader who will indeed be ready to change the narrative. Our problem is not hard, we just need such leader to help us out of it ni.

    Oh m God. Watching this is very painful. I grew up in Kano and, left for the US, a long time ago. I cry deeply in my spirit. Nigerian politicians are heartless and clueless. The country is under an unbreakable burden. Nigeria makes (manufactures) nothing for global commerce. There is population explosion in the midst of hunger. Terrorism, kidnapping, killing of farmers resulting in low farming and productivity are all exacerbating and making conditions worse. There is no way things can get better. I grew up there but I have witnessed incredible and continuous improvements in these "forty something years" in the US. Nothing will change in Nigeria without a massive and sustained people revolution. I honestly DO NOT believe a revolution will work in NIGERIA because, the place is lacking in the principle of true Nationalism. There are problems. HUGE problems. Ethnicity, bribery, breakneck corruption and the ultimate poison, the confusion of religion.

Observe all those who are against the process going against the protest… these are the ones that are benefiting from the suffering of their fellow brothers and sisters

    Weather the the Imams preaching for protest or against it, the ultimate role model for every Muslims is Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and he left us with teachings that we know say Protests are forbidden. In fact he taught to endure with patience. The Prophet will eternally be correct for preaching against it because he was sent by Allah. The hard reality is that most Muslims don't know their own religion and this a typical example of the result of the Muslims ignorance of their own way of life. Believe it.

    O boy, leave that matter. If it is a Northerner that is on the sit of power and is far far far worse than President Tinubu, the Northerners will NEVER protest due to their tribal sentiments: even when they are dying. All waste of time.
    The only true solution to our country is for Nigerians to refuse another round of elections in 4yrs time but demand for an Interim Government that would REVAMP THE NIGERIAN MILITARISED 1999 CONSTITUTION that must be the people's CONSTITUTION and plug all the holes in it. Then we can start talking about Governance.
    Anything short of this is a waste of everybody's time. So, if Nigerians must protest, this Constitutional Revamp must be the subject matter and must be attended to urgently: our current Constitution is Nigerians TRUEST ENEMY and not the politicians.

    Ned, I disagree with you for the Igbo to come out to protest. When the current administration did Muslim Muslim tickets, this group of people did not protest. When Peter Obi won the election, Mahmood saw the seat to Tinubu. This group of people did not protest. If any Igbo man wants to die, then let him go out and join the protest. The Igbos has never been seen as Nigerian. Okay, so when there's a problem in the land, then we are counted as Nigerian. You know this laughable.
