Oh m God. Watching this is very painful. I grew up in Kano and, left for the US, a long time ago. I cry deeply in my spirit. Nigerian politicians are heartless and clueless. The country is under an unbreakable burden. Nigeria makes (manufactures) nothing for global commerce. There is population explosion in the midst of hunger. Terrorism, kidnapping, killing of farmers resulting in low farming and productivity are all exacerbating and making conditions worse. There is no way things can get better. I grew up there but I have witnessed incredible and continuous improvements in these "forty something years" in the US. Nothing will change in Nigeria without a massive and sustained people revolution.
