Hell, they were only fighting midgets and dwarfs.
It would have been unfair to have allowed real men to fight tiny people so little kids were the just right type.
And anyway, the kids most likely won't win the battle.
I should know because not so long ago I saw three 6 year old coming home from school eating their sherbet dabs and i went across and took their sweets off them and gave them a slap each just to let them know who's boss.
All they did was cry so I know for certain they can't fight at all.

Ironically, the Island (the first spinoff) actually has a lore reason for this.
Signerdragon123 Yeah. According to The Island, the life force of children is smaller, and harder to detect by Nevar and his army. Hence why the Warriors in that spin-off were drafted into 3 groups of 4. The Lions, Wolves, and Eagles. And by the end of it all, only one from each faction saw the journey through to the end.

Did anyone else use to think that when they walked to the next challenge, that they were trekking for days and nights across Scotland? I genuinely believed that for a long time.

@@H3L3Z I actually went to school camp at Laganlia, where it was filmed. It was so annoying, we found out that they'd all been there filming literally the week before, so we just missed them! Some of the golden skulls were still hanging up on the assault courses and everything, and some of my friends even found some stuff the children in the show had written on a chalkboard in one of the lodges.
As you can probably imagine, me and my friends spent literally the whole week fangirling, recreating scenes from the show and saying "Let the challenge begin!" In Scottish accents. It was pretty darn fun.

@Shadowmane PX-41 True, though had Danil not snagged his leg on Way of the Warrior's final Jaw or Hanso not had such a terrible day under Blasted Mountain (again), he might have had a much harder time.

Ben Parsons I'm not sure if the reboots you speak of will be a good idea. I mean, have you seen the latest series of the Dr Who revival? Looks mostly garbage. I like the idea of Raven being brought back, but maybe on the basis of "by fans, for fans"?

I am feeling a lot of emotions right now. This was the last series I was able to watch religiously from the main 10 (8-10 I had TV issues ;-;) although spin-offs were always fun. The nostalgia this show has on me is immense...

I doubt anyone will care about this but I thought I'd share something. Eight or nine years ago I actually auditioned to be on the show and got to the second round auditions but I didn't go to it because it was too far for me to travel. In the first round auditions, one if the tasks we had to do was to come up with an idea for a challenge in 5-10 minutes that might be used in the show. When my group couldn't think of an idea but I could, I demonstrated my idea: Boulder Run. 1:56:00 is when they go to the challenge and it is almost exactly as I presented and described it, with a few adjustments. My original idea was to have other doors in the way as well while they were pushing the boulder, as well as other obstacles in their way but overall they did a good job translating it. Whether or not anyone thinks it is good or not, I'm now happy that they used my semi-improvised idea. (Not going to lie, for years I was like "I could have been on that show. They used my idea" and now I look at Boulder Run and say "my baby")

Out of interest was the idea to have it under the Blasted Mountain pitched back then?
I imagined it being under the mountain so when I described it and acted it out, I did talk about the environment. I never mentioned Blasted Mountain, but I did talk a lot about the rocky terrain and it being in a cave. I guess the producers thought it would be a good fit for Blasted Mountain.
This is possibly the funniest thing I have ever watched, and I loved it as a kid

Fun Fact, Spider's Web used to be the set for High Walk in the earlier seasons. You can see the bar they had to walk across, and the notches in the trees where they used to climb. Pretty cool :D
Billybo10000 "used to be the set for High Walk"- I'm not so sure by the used to part, judging by the background at 6:06 and the arrival at High Walk at 1:36:25 I'd say both games were played in the same place. Look again and tell me what you think

I like how this season has an honor roll for those who actually completed the Way of the Warrior, even for those who completed way back in Season 2 (As nobody managed it Season 1 and only 1 guy at the very end got to the axes and failed there)

Versad & Beron were certainly the best in this group so deserved to go through, it was like Week 3 of Series 6 where the other warriors were no competition at all.
You`re WRONG! Lisan and Nisab were the ones who DESERVED to go into the final week! You see, the ONLY reason Lisan had to lose was that he was PAIRED UP with Beron in ALL THREE of the "group exercises"! And it was Beron`s behaviour that caused Lisan to have those losses! Versad RIGHTLY pointed out that Beron is the sort of person who LETS OTHERS DOWN when working with them! Also, it is NEVER right to have the same combination (pair) in ANY group exercise (the ones with teams of 3). The reason being is that it STOPS people from BRINGING OUT THEIR REAL STRENGTHS. AND SO Lisan was a STRONG child who WOULD`VE had more wins in other events. Also, he would`ve been VICTORIOUS in "Skull Cage", if Raven had provided him the "Black feather" test to see if he would do it instead of Mygar or Beron (see my comment from 6 years ago).
Also, there were SEVERAL reasons why Nisab got eliminated WHEN IN FACT she DESERVED to go onto the final week! First of all, she was expected to do "Loch Leap" on day 2, WHEN IN FACT it SHOULD`VE on day 4, INSTEAD of "Riddle Bridge"! You see, ANY event that enables the last-place children to catch up HAS to be on days 1-2 of the week, CONSIDERING the fact that EVERYONE deserves the opportunity to CATCH UP when they`ve fell behind. THIS IS WHY "Riddle Bridge" SHOULD`VE been on day 2! If you LOOK CLOSELY at the end of "Battle Of The Boats", the scores are as follows:
Versad = 7 lives 8 rings
Kelpa = 7 lives 3 rings
Beron = 6 lives 4 rings
Mygar = 6 lives 3 rings
Lisan = 6 lives 3 rings
Nisab = 6 lives 1 ring
AND SO it WOULD`VE resulted in the SAME ORDER AND WAY as the the original broadcast, WITH THE EXCEPTION of the fact that LISAN and NISAB would`ve ALSO attempted it and WON IT (considering the fact that they would`ve had an ADVANTAGE over everyone else, and this would given Lisan and Nisab WHAT THEY DESERVED!
You see, it is NEVER right to have "solo" challenges on days 1-2 because they TAKE A LONG TIME and are DIFFICULT to solve as they are SO RISKY and COMPLICATED! They can ONLY be held on days 3-5, considering the fact that they AWARD the "combat" and "team" challenges! THIS IS WHY "Riddle Bridge" and "Loch Leap" need to SWAP PLACES!
Another reason why Nisab was eliminated is because she was teamed up with BERON on "Battering Ram"! It was Beron`s behaviour (see what I put in earlier on in this posting) that caused her to lose this challenge! It WOULD`VE MADE MORE SENSE to SWAP Kelpa and Beron for "Battering Ram" to ENSURE that Nisab gets the win that she deserves! Nisab has the ability to work effectively as a team, AND THIS is what makes her DESERVE a place in the final week!
If I had been referee, I would`ve SWAPPED the positions of "Loch Leap" and "Riddle Bridge". I would`ve ALSO swapped over KELPA and BERON in the event "Battering Ram". The reason being is to ENSURE that Nisab and Lisan gain places in the final week!
Also, Nisab was a VERY CLEVER person, and I can picture her doing well in the "intellectual" challenges, like "Skull Cage" and "Demon Square".
You need to consider the fact that Lisan WOULD`VE done well in challenges like "The Chasm" and "Boulder Run", CONSIDERING his PHYSICAL STRENGTH! Nisab would`ve ALSO been victorious in BOTH of these events!

Skull cage Challenge: this is where the game Kerplunk comes in handy
I used to love this show so much whilst a kid and would always get an adrenaline rush on the last task
i really wanted kelpa to make it through the portal as she was so humble and such a kind soul

There were new series of Raven in a different format released December 2017-Raven is still in it, but there is also a young female Raven leading the challenges. Anyone in the UK can see this on BBCiPlayer-episodes will disappear quite soon though (all episodes for a series there, not the 1st one though).
