Your comparison between a bed and a camera bag was spot on! I just got this bag and I love it so far!

I know that bench well :-)
I have the original Flipside 300 and love it, takes 2 OMD bodies and all my lenses and I've been all over America with it.
Great to know that no one is helping themselves to my stuff on a crowded Tube train.

Different approach to the opening. Worth a look
Look forward to more reviews in the future.

Copied the Riutback reverse opening I see. Not complaining though, it's a great design. I'd not use any bag now that had easy access for people stood behind me in an urban setting.

Lowepro has this design for ages.

I have the 400 and love it! Wish they made a more compact 250 version as I find the 300 too similar in size as the 400.

I'm considering this bag...will it fit a Sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens and Nikon D3500 in?

Does it support a 17 inch laptop?

Nice review! What's the music in the intro? I really like it.

Looking at the video it seems that the flat front pocket could accommodate a gimbal that folds more or less flat, like the Zhiyun Crane Plus that I still use. Would that be doable?
Comment on side pockets: Perhaps I‘m weird but I almost always carry a collapsible umbrella and the outside side pocket for that is essential, because it‘s often wet and can‘t go inside. So many camera bags no longer have the side pockets, which makes them unusable for me, no matter how good they are otherwise. A single side pocket as on this bag will just do in a pinch, but one on each side is massively better, because then there‘s space for a water bottle as well (will also NEVER go inside the bag). Also, the side pockets should ideally be made of breathable netting, not closed material. I would much rather have two side pockets than side access any day.

The side pocket is the reason why the flip side isn't an option for me anymore. I go for the flipside because it is safe to use even in big cities. The safety aspect is all lost with the side access. Just made it easier for your equipment getting stolen.

You can use a piece of wire to tie together two zippers on side access pocket to secure it.

@@klklkl427586 I got the second version in amazing conditions second hand gladly when my first flipside wasn't usable anymore

This is partly the reason why I still have the OG Flipside 300.

Is this bigger than the 150 Lowepro ?

Can you try to put 15.4" MPB into this ? I know 400 aw III will be perfect, but is overall too big for me, and laptop compartment od 300 AW III is only 0,7cm smaller on paper than 15.4" MBP. Maybe it is possible to fit in it. This bag is so new, and nobody knows it. Please help.

The bag looks too deep for the Sony A series. This bag is probably more suited to a DSLR. Can see it smashing around in that thing.

A shame the main feature of this bag is totally missed in the video.

The quality of the Mk3 bags is abysmal compared with the Mk2s. I can't imagine what Lowepro are thinking with these.
