Gorkha’s Earthquake is the most dreadful experience of my whole life. We were literally shaking. Didn’t know where to go, many of them died, for more than 3 months we had to stay out because of unstoppable earthquakes. I don’t want to experience that again. Thank god that me and my family all are safe and sound. Still gives us goosebumps whenever we talk about that.
I know right, it has scarred all of us I still remember that gloomy day after the quake, thousands of aftershock, one huge 7.2 again. No one should experience that level of quake

Tbf he wasn’t too far off, some tsunamis in the past fisherman went in there boats out to sea so they could get the other side of the tsunami before it was too big to avoid
If a big wave is going to hit you and you are in water you should jump underwater because it won't hurt you and when it's passes through you can go up

if you're on a boat out at sea you could avoid the intensity of the tsunami, you'll see it and feel it rocking your boat but that's about it. compare it to the devastation at land it's a noticeable difference

It was catastrophic, so powerful, dominating.

The scariest tip that ive ever heard about tsunamis: if your spending the day at the beach and all of a sudden the ocean seems to drain get to high ground immediately. Imagine your standing in the shallow and you just feel a massive pull of water that leaves you standing on the sand with no water, you turn around and see a 50ft wave heading at you at 200 mph+
This whole video is basically "A lot of people died, but at least we got some sick clips!"

tsunami isn't just water from the ocean, it's more of a mud. i went to a tsunami museum back in the days and they told me the story of how you could get stuck in the flow of water because of the mud and the waterflow going about 100mph. (So yeah even fatneek still gonna die :V)

As somebody who lives just south of where the California fires were, it was a campfire that spread. Recently though, a gender reveal caused fires for about 2 months, causing the sky to be dark orange for 2 days.
Can’t forget the fires that were caused by lighting too in NorCal

The worst "natural disaster" I've ever experienced would be a mild sandstorm in 2014 when I lived in Dubai and a hail fall later that year (even though those aren't natural disaster, that's the best I've experienced)

Fun fact:i was born in 2005 in Malaysia,so when i was still in my mothers stomach,she was having a check up from a doctor using a stethoscope or other hearing device when the doctor heard a rumble, the doctor told my dad to stop moving around because she thought that my dad was causing the sound but it was the Tsunami (which she didn't know at that time)

I live in California and I was around during the wildfires and I was 7 years old, A lot of my family had to evacuate but I live far enough north that I did not have to evacuate but for days the sky was orange. It was trippy.

In California up to Alaska is an subduction zone and the San Andreas Fault is a strike slip fault (therefore active), so trigger much stronger earthquakes. That’s my best guess on an answer, love the content!

I lived through that fire!!!! Thank you powers that be for sparing my home and the homes if my loved ones and my school. The fire in question is canyon fire and my school had to evacuate and we had to wear masks before the pandemic as to minimize smoke inhalation
