"Boko Haram" leader Mohammed Yusuf Interrogation before his execution by Nigerian security agents

  • This video shows security agents interrogating of Mohammed Yusuf, the leader of the "Boko Haram" uprising in Maiduguri, Borno State. A subdued and cooperative Yusuf cooperated with the security agents before he was summarily executed by the Nigerian police while he was in police custody. This contradicts statements made by the Nigerian police that he died in a "shoot out".

    The transcript continues:
Officer: We went to your house yesterday and we saw a lot of animals, syringes and materials used for making bombs, what were you keeping all that for?
Yusuf: Like I told you, to protect myself ...
Officer: (Cuts in) ... to protect yourself how? Isn't there the authorities, the law enforcement agencies?
Yusuf: The authorities, the law enforcement agents are the same people fighting me ...
    Officer: What did you do?
Yusuf: I don't know what I did ... I am only propagating my religion Islam.
Officer: But I am also a Muslim ...
Yusuf: I don't know why you refuse to accept my own (Islam)
Officer: Why should you say Boko [western education] is Haram (sinful)?
Yusuf: Of course it is Haram
Officer: Why did you say that?
Yusuf: The reasons are so many ...
Officer: The trouser you are wearing ...
Yusuf: (cuts in)...it is pure cotton and cotton belongs to Allah
Officer: But Allah said in the Qur'an iqra (read), that people should seek knowledge...
Yusuf: That's correct, but not the knowledge that contravenes the teachings of Islam. All knowledge that contradicts Islam is prohibited by the Almighty ... sihiri (sorcery or magic) is knowledge, but Allah hath forbidden it; shirk (Polytheism or sharing or associating partners to Allah) is knowledge, but Allah has forbidden it; astronomy is knowledge, but Allah has forbidden it ...
Officer: At your place we found computers, syringes ... are all that no products of knowledge?
Yusuf: They are purely technological things, not Boko ... and westernisation is different.
Officer: How comes you are eating good food - look at you, looking healthy - you are driving good cars, and wearing good clothes while you are forcing your followers to sell their belongings and live mostly on dabino (dates) and water?
Yusuf: That is not true. Everybody is living according to his means. Even you are different. Whoever you see driving good cars is because he can afford them, and whoever you see living in want also means he doesn't have the wherewithal.

So it is an Ibo guy that is translating Hausa language for you? Don't expect Chukwudi (Okoro) to transcript something different from the above at this desperate period that they using all possible means for their propaganda (from fake medical report, to placing a death advert on the front page of newspaper for a leaving man) all for the continuity of "STEALING IS NOT CORRUPTION" regime which they are benefiting from. You are exactly right. There have been some internal forces in Nigeria & plenty external forces outside Nigeria that have been trying unsuccessfully for decades to destroy that union called Nigeria. Mostly because of the greed to control resources and shift the balance of power away from that region. The only problem with him going to court is that it is the Nigerian Police who are in charge of investigating Yusuf. So the masses don't have the choice to ever know who was behind him.

My fellow Nigerians, I know some you are unhappy with the way Yusuf was killed. But please look at the bigger picture. Nigerian courts don't work like the US court systems. If Yusuf is still alive is prison, his fighters will later regroup to cause more mayhem and pressure the Nigerian government to release him. Once again thank God for the Nigerian security forces.

      COMPARE THESE TWO ARGUMENTS
"Islam endorses war (jihad) to impose its law (Sharia) across the world. Therefore, Islam approves of killing people across the world. Muslims are dangerous - your Muslim neighbour literally wants to knife your little daughter and then blow up the local McDonalds."
"Liberalism endorses war (e.g., colonialism, humanitarian intervention, military occupation) to impose its law (international human rights law) across the world. Therefore liberalism approves of killing people across the world. Liberals are dangerous - your liberal neighbour literally wants to knife your little daughter and then blow up the local mosque."
Why do so many idiots find the first argument logical and compelling, while they find the second argument illogical and absurd? Aren't both arguments illogical and absurd?
Do you want to know why the US is broken and subject to an increasingly totalitarian surveillance regime?
It is because the American people allowed themselves to be duped by absurd arguments into endorsing the "Global War on Terrorism" - spending 8 trillion dollars and agreeing to give the government unlimited surveillance/policing powers in the name of "fighting terrorism/extremism" as characterized by the first argument above.

Nigerian laws don't require, although it encourages that a suspect who is caught in the ACT for murder or genocide to go to court. Suspects can be executed on the spot if deemed extremely dangerous. The US military does this to the so called terrorists or freedom fighters they fight in the middle east.

So now you resort to name calling, you deleted your original account, you created a new one, and you have just responded to a comment I made two months ago.
Who goes through all that trouble?
You support ignorance and believe that the means to peace and a resolution of the situation in Nigeria is through violence and terrorism.
Seeing the world's response to radical Islam, you are foolish to believe that what Boko Haram is doing bears any fruit whatsoever.
But I'll let you do your thing.

God complexity is perfectly defined in a human being. He make man a supreme head of all things! The greatest task by Allah/God! Al-quran and the bible established it that: ''GOD MAKE MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE''.Any religion with no value for the life of people could not be in anyway from the God/Allah or represent PEACE as God is LOVE!

@vivaAfrica123 again here you make an assumption. you are the person who has been making assumptions about everyone that has been posting here. no where in my posts did I state or insinuate that i am in infatuated with the west. as you have stated in your posts it is the arabs and europeans that you see wearing diamonds. Our problems are completely the results of our leaders accepting aid from foreigners. I am sick and tired of our problems always being directed at foreign (continued in next post

@vivaAfrica123 regarding lumumba, sankara, and garang, you are right, but if you continue to believe that true change will come by waging violence on your own people and any people for that matter, then our nations will remain the same. It has been decades since our nations have gained independence and it is high time that we have started to govern ourselves in that fashion. as opposed to civil resistance against our governments we have rampant violence exacted on our own people.
