Nice! I really wanted this reel. They have the 4000, but I like the 6000 on it. . And I put 20lb mono on it atm. Will possible go up to 25lb. In case sturgeon bite too. I will switch out back and forth with a 3000 or 4000 when salmon open up. Lol
@@sanmansfishingadventure the rod itself is light and a bit flimsy.. sometimes the hook set isn’t all that great cause of it. You gotta put an extra hmph into it. From my experience of course..
For sure it's over kill. Lol. But in case i hook a sturgeon. Lol.. But my buddy got this exact rod and I really like it. So they only got the 4000 or 6000 size for the thunnus. So it looks a bit small for this rod. They didn't have 5000.
I hooked up and loss a few sturgeon the past few years while striper fishing. I use to only use about 10 or 12 lb line with my 6 foot ugly stick. With 3000 size reel. Lol
