- In this video I rant a little regarding the Nikon Z6III. My first rant on this new amazing camera. The Nikon Z6 III. I want Nikon to change this little thing regarding the new $2500 Z6 III mirrorless camera. They can do it. It's no big deal NIKON.

I agree. Charger should be included with electronic devices and not only USB cable

Hey Vahagn - this has nothing to do with Nikon - its a byproduct of the EU laws being passed - the EU passed a law requiring all small and medium-sized electronic devices sold in the EU to have a USB Type-C charging port by December 28, 2024 and requiring chargers to be unbundled. Nikon just decided it would be to expensive/inefficient to have separate packages for different markets. Though Nikon should offer a free charger if you register your equipment on their website as an option.

100%, charger should be included. I don't want to use my £2600 camera to charge multiple batteries. I don't agree that "every" camera should have one but cameras of a certain price should.
Why waste materials building chargers for people who already have chargers. Like you said, this is a pro-sumer product so most of the people buying it are upgrading and already own a charger or like me, multiple chargers. It’s just something for a CZcamsr to whine about and not a real issue.
I do not care for this latest fashion of not supplying a charger to come with the camera, this is something Sony started, and everybody else’s following suit to cut corners.

The days of bundled chargers is coming to an end, Nikon is just following the trend of not including chargers now. Apple and other cellphone companies are now doing the same thing. I would expect most camera companies to start doing this as well. The EU recently required USB-C standardization across all electronics to help curb e-waste, which is partially driving this. Plus these company's can now save a few bucks. Not saying I like it, but this isn't unique to Nikon cameras.
Agreed, where are the chargers? This kind of forces customers to by third party chargers and batteries. Cameras are now A La Carte
I agree, it is so cheap of the camera companies to not include the charger. They charge a large amount of money, include the damn charger!!!
In Romania a Z6 iii body costs 3220$, not 2500$ ...

My Z5 came with the charger but not my Zf. Probably a change in the business model with newer models that are not flagship.
I'm confused, so no charger and its an issue but then opening the latch is an issue but don't you have to open the latch to put the battery in anyway? Also Apple does not include charger bricks anymore either with the new Iphone but people still buy those $1K plus phones., I guess my thought is most people don't mind buying buying a $15 to $20 charger if needed but with everything converting to usb c maybe its assumed they would already have a usb-c charger if they have researched before buying yo know what they need such as a hdmi cable, CF express card, etc. Who really knows.

It should include a charger if it uses a unique battery but if it uses the same battery like other older cameras then it makes sense to have it as an extra item.
My two Sony FF cameras didn't include a charger either. I bought a third-party one that came with two extra batteries.
