With the upcoming release of TOTK, I wanted to make a compilation of every trailer from this game and its prequel, BOTW. So here it is, a video that, even if it doesn't seems likely, took me many hours to make. The transitions from trailer to trailer were made all by me, including some of my best ones out yet! You forgot to include the “Life in the Ruins” trailer for BOTW, which is understandable since it’s so short. But it’s a very underrated trailer in my opinion, and it gave me a lot more hype for the game.
Omg did I miss one? Even by doing a pretty extended search, I was unable to find every trailer. Welp, i'll pin your comment. Sorry for the missed trailer!

So happy this showed up in my feed! I've played Breath of the Wild but I don't think I ever saw the trailers so that was really cool! I am getting SO hyped for TotK!!!!

Every trailer is phenomenal but my favorites are the Nintendo presentation trailer for BOTW and the First look for TOTK when it didn’t even have a name yet. The BOTW one gave me goosebumps and tears from how epic and grand they made it out to be and more than lived up to it. For the first look it just gave so much mystery and had me and other people wondering what it could be for ages
For me it was the BOTW 2017 Switch Presentation Trailer and the TOTK Final Trailer!
the trailer for the BOTW even now is mesmerizing!
The way they make the new renditions of the classic Zelda theme makes me almost cry every time... 6:31

The 2017 trailer is a masterclass in how you do a legendary trailer.

I've been a big fan of the Zelda games since I was a kid, but in the last 10 years it's been really cool watching more and more people find excuses to finally get into this series.
I had a lot of gripes with the original release of Skyward Sword, and I was skeptical about BOTW before its release. Even after hearing of its accolades I waited years to play it because I didnt want to pay full price. 😂
Yet here I am, in 2023, obsessed with this series again.
What a good story! It's incredible how something can change people's lives. I hope you enjoy a lot TOTK!
I find it funny that I was a huge Zelda fan, but I was so restricted to the internet when I was younger I had no idea that this game was even coming out until one day I booted up my Wii U and saw on the home screen wondering what it was. I guess I didn't have to wait that long lol.
Rip. If you were that restricted to the internet that means you had good parents tho, so yeah, think positively about that.
I can see why they showed so little of TOTK compared to BOTW. BOTW development videos and early trailers got us excited for features that weren't in the final game.

@@ZapSky I didn't followed BOTW other than friends comments about it, but it could be things like the map in the Wii U gamepad.

I remember when the Queen died so we didn't get one of the TOTK trailers, guess we kind of got it early then
In that E3 2014 trailer, there was a ruin showing the zoni in this clip, it was a teaser for the TotK.
True! They said this game was developed for 10 years, because of the scrapped botw ideas that actually returned in the sequel!

Woah, I got a little confused when I saw the beginning of the first DLC trailer, I don't think I ever saw those trailers. There's still so much in Breath of the Wild I haven't done yet, and now the sequel is here.
Yeah, same. So sad I didn't buy BOTW on release or as early as possible to me.
@@ZapSky I got it day 1 with my Switch and played for 35 or 40 hours during the first few months. I didn't get bored with it, they just released so many other games in the coming years I couldn't keep up. I also don't like to breeze through a game I love and have nothing left of it. So I kind of like that I'll still have new things to find in Breath of the Wild even after I start the sequel.

I think it's okay for now 😅. I didn't play any other zelda apart from AoC and Syward Sword, and I didn't see any trailers from any other Zelda games, It would be so much more effort to search for all, and I already tried with AoC...

Im curious why you went out of your way to cut both of the initial name reveals? Imo the fun of watching every trailer in order like this is to relive the trickle of information before launch, and the name of the game is the single most impactful reveal. I cant imagine why youd edit those out.
It was a long pause and obvious information. I wanted to make the recopilation as fluid as possible, so taking out those was a resource to make that.
