  • I have seen a lot of comments recently of people asking me where they should live based on their circumstances. So today, I am going to talk about how to decide where you should live in Florida, mainly based on the reason you are moving here.

I know I probably didn't think of everyone, as I pretty much just came up with this idea on the fly and wrote down everything that came into my head at the time.
But I want this video to be helpful to you, based on the reasons you are moving to Florida, but also based on your personality or what you like to do for fun.
Sorry if I missed your personality / interest in the video. Feel free to ask me in the comments where to move to based on your interests or why you want to live in Florida.
Everyone has their reasons. Mine is obviously, I love the warm weather (hate the cold) and I love living on the beach. There is just something special about waking up every day and looking at the ocean. It is majestic, and I consider it a privilege, and I'm grateful for it every day 😀

Great info for potential residents! Regarding colleges, I went to FIU in Miami and would highly recommend it because it's a public university, so cheaper for residents and has some excellent programs including nursing, architecture and even law. You're dead on about the beaches in the keys, aside from that my personal take on it is the keys are more of a vacation spot or 2nd home, it's not for everyone as far as permanent residency. Keep in mind, Key West is a 3 and a half hour drive from the mainland of Miami and the job prospects there are limited to the hospitality field.

Can you do a video talking about CDDs? Sounds like a huge turn off to living in certain areas of Florida, such as St Augustine. Is it included in your mortgage amount? Seems like if you get a mortgage for X for a house, your mortgage can actually be X + an insane amount of tens of thousands of dollars for the CDD. If you could talk about this that would be great.
