Bill Belzek Dawkins was great but he wasn't the greatest of all time at his position. Moss was the best WR of all time. The only person you could possibly put over him is Rice. I'd put Ronnie Lott, Ken Houston, Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Paul Krause and a few others all above Dawkins.

That's why we love guys like B Dawk, Iverson, Utley, Rollins, Embiid. When those guys say they love our fan base it's not just a cliche, they truly mean it, we know it's genuine.

I grew up playing safety. Im a cowboys fan and i watched brian D career, hands down my fave safety, i idolized this dude. Classy leader and hell of a player. Glad to see him get in the hall. To me he was the ray lewis of safety position, vocal energenic, sacrificed body to make awesome plays

Every time I have an obstacle in my life or struggle I will always watch this. Being and Eagles Fan Dawkins always inspired me with his passion and intensity that he played with. He has gone through so much and him succeeding pushes me to be my best.

I'm just seeing this now after watching his Football Life episode. Brian's Football Life may have been the 1st time I cried during an episode, because I could feel his passion & pain, as I can here. Depression, thoughts of suicide, all & unfortunately mutual feelings that I & so many others have been through. My Patriots beat his Eagles in 2004, his Eagles beat my Patriots last season. But no matter what, he will ALWAYS be a champion at life. God bless this man & all of you who struggle too. We will overcome!
